Starting this week, the specialty station "Rapture TV" will be relaunching on UK airwaves, and will be airing anime on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 8:30pm. Wolf's Rain airs on Tuesday nights, while Fullmetal Alchemist airs on Thursday nights.

WR is watchable, I suppose, due to the presence of Yoko Kanno, but do yourselves a favour and catch Fullmetal Alchemist on Thursday.

Wolf's Rain is pretty terrible, really.

^Ditto. Don't waste 13 hours of your life watching that steaming pile of a series.

However, I highly recommend seeing Fullmetal Alchemist.

I loved WR. You've got to really want to think about it, and not just in terms of solving the whole paradise mystery. Analyze it like literature-which I'm sure you guys did. It wasn't brilliant, but it was unique and thought provoking.

You've got your dates the wrong way round Pep: Full Metal Alchemist was on tonight. I just caught the end of it (its time's down wrong onthe TV guide) but it looked pretty spiffing.

This reminded me of something you'll probably find both funny and sad.

My final college Literature II paper, which counted for 100% of the final semester grade.

If you can't bother reading the whole thing, just look at the works cited. That's the best part. Because it had to be a literary analysis/research paper.

I always thought FLCL was pretty cool.

And if I think it's cool then that means it is cool.

Therefore everybody should watch it (if it's on air anymore)

FLCL is currently my favorite anime. Perhaps because it's one of the few I've been exposed to via Adult Swim, but it really is an extremely good show. I could rant about everything I find admirable about it, but I think it'd be better if I just go watch it right now.

mmm....pillows....

WR was killed by the four filler episodes in a row, Man I love FMA!.

FMA kicks ass. It has great characters, great voice acting (in the Japanese), brilliant art, a killer plot...somewhat overused sensationalist themes, though.

Still, it kicks ass. I was crushed when Hughes died. He was the best guy on the show. Then Greed came along, and did his best in Hughes' place. Predictably, he died pretty soon.

Kimbley is almost as evil as Archer. But not quite.

Al is only cool because of his armor.

Mustang is hot. Literally.

Not enough girls in the show to comment on, but I like Hawkeye somewhat.

Wolf's Rain was killed by thirty straight episodes of pure, unadulterated boring.
