Someone recorded an entire path in the Shadow game

Post by Frieza2000 »

While it was on display in Moscow September 17th and 18th, some guy played the neutral path and recorded it on video. It's 46 minutes. I don't want to watch it; I'd rather be surprised. But for those of you who don't plan to play the game, here it is:

http://www.sonic-torrent.sytes.net/details.php?id=478

You need to log in for it to work.

If anyone does watch it, I'd like to hear if it really sucks or not.

As I understand it the neutral path is the canon one. So I'll step way back until I get to play it myself.

I really wished there wasn't a cannon path. Then the game would drive all you continuity freaks insane!

Anyone downloaded it? I remember how a certain site tried to spoil the er... plot points *cough* in Sonic Heroes.

Somewhat. It briefly froze on me at 61%, now it's going at 10 Kbps. Which is a bit of a problem, as it was going at 130 Kbps earlier.

Downloading as we speak. While we're waiting, what the FUCK is that giant robot in the screenshots? God, Eggman sucks nowadays.

I just recently got into torrents, but what is seeding? I'd be glad to help seed If I knew what it was and how to do it.

It's where you have someone's seed poured all over your face. Just open wide.

Actually, a seeder is a person that has the complete file and is uploading it into the client.

What, this robot?

I think it's pretty cool. I don't know why, but it's very resemblent to the bosses from Game Gear Sonic games.

I was actually talking about this one. And it's only reminescent of the old Sonic games the way Sonic Heroes was reminiscent of the old Sonic games.
It's neither classic or charming, just pathetic.

Ah, that one. I don't like it either... But isn't that why we're going to destroy it anyway?

Just wondering, what's the release date for Shadow? My anti-spoiler conscience is starting to nag at the back of my head (Yes, 70% into the download), and if it's within a month, I might consider cancelling this.

November 15th.

And there's only one seeder because nobody's actually managed to finish the download yet.

I'm at 72%! This sucks. I jumped to 43% in like ten minutes and got the last 28% over the last seven to eight hours or so.

Torrents are definitly the fast way to do things.

November was my guess. Well, my torrent is now going at a nice 20 Kbps, and it seems like such a shame to interrupt it now. As much as I'm going to regret it, I simply can't resist.

Perhaps I should have waited until there was more than one seeder before directing 50 people to the torrent.

Edit: Actually, only 4 people are using the name I set up. Wow. I didn't think that little site even HAD 50 people.

Actually, according to Shareaza, there are 60 sources here, 42 of which are active.

And yet, the torrent has completely stopped.

I don't if these are from the video Frieza linked to but there's some new screenshots here. Be warned though there's some extreme spoilers in some of these screenshots including one of the endings. If you don't want to know don't click.

I'm watching it now. Current impressions: the final product better be a HELL of a lot more polished than this. Jesus. There's clipping all over the place, and the game even hangs a few times.
