A recolored Eggman? Can anyone say Dr. Manegg, the alternate reality Eggman?

Yosh! Twice the Eggman, more the better. Perhaps this Eggman is the one Blaze fights in the "alternate reality".

That’s hilarious.

One of the more promising looking Sonic games in a long time and it’s got a dodgy alternate Eggman. Oh well, it’s a good thing I don’t play Sonic games mainly for the storyling

I guess if he really is Eggman from another dimension, it would be weird if they looked particularly different. But he is a little more than a recolour... he seems to be sporting a different set of goggles, and his shirt has a big orange stripe down the front or something.

I really like the yellow triangles on his shirt, taken straight from the classic classic Eggman design.

Not sure why, maybe it's the designs on hus outfit, but I kinda like how alternate dimension Eggman looks so far. WAY better then Blaze's character design anyways.

Does blaze have rocket shoes? Because in the only shot of her in an action stage shows flames beneath her feet.

She can control fire, thus the name.

So she can use fire to propel herself at high speeds like the Human Torch?

Maybe he's older than our Eggman. Isn't there supposed to be time-travel in this game?

That's a very interesting observation.

Will the time traveling element be similar to Sonic CD, or is this something different?

I was thinking they were going to put Eggman in drag. But I do like the classic Eggman design though.

NO!

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

I mentioned in another thread here that I don't like that we are getting a recolored Eggman for this game. It reeks of laziness and it offends me as a fan of Eggman.

An recoloured Eggman from an alternative universe? Looks like Sega are using sprite comics for inspiration yet again!

Forget recolored characters, the entire parallel universe concept is trite.
