a hyphen is this little fellow: '.

basically the hyphen is used to join two words to form one. For example it is becomes it's.

It did cross my mind that the term hyphenated, was used in the wrong context, but since the words were contained within a hyphen, I Just thought I'd leave it at that.

Yay, thank god for GHZ. Where else can you go to meet cynical people who love punctuation.

That’s a rhetorical question, but then you knew that didn’t you.

That’s another rhetorical question.

That's nearly as embarrassing when I sent a chiding letter to a newspaper and misused the word 'parenthesise'.

I have a sealed Japanese Sonic & Knuckles cartridge. And the flimsy cardboard box is in almost good condition. Beat that.

PS: Fuck everyone replying negatively to this. These sorts of posts are interesting to me, and it irritates me beyond belief to see people replying with internet catchphrases and various witty forms of "get a life lol". Just... stop it.

You know what, I'm gonna back this up. I'm all for the humorous e-stamping on the faces of deluded 12 year-olds who wander in here and puke their adoration for Shadow onto the forum, but I'm getting really fucking sick of how every thread I scroll through these days is mostly just a string of witty (shitty) banter and lame sarcasm. We're capable of having some genuinely thrilling debates and discussions in this little corner of the internet and it is home, I think, to a handful of some of the greatest minds to have ever typed their opinions into a web browser, but it's recently becoming deeply polluted with stupid, stifling bollocks.

And if I see one more avatar featuring an ancient guitarist defaced next to a certain somebody's name I'm going to have to use some administrative features.

Ditto. This and the ad thread are very informative. It's nice to have this stuff all in one place.

If you're going to include demos then I can dig out my old Sega Flash discs (1 and 2 came packed in with Sega Saturn consoles, which one you got depended on when you bought it, 3 onwards came out on no fixed schedule with the UK's Official Sega Saturn Magazine, I think there were 7 in total).

I'm pretty sure Sonic Heroes PC was released in places other than Australia, but I'm not sure how many.

I try to avoid flaming, but I think that the oppressive environment it creates is what keeps the typical Sonic fan off this board. It makes them afraid to speak, or at least encourages them to really think before they post. I agree that we often take it too far, but whatever. I try not to.
