Sonic Spinball PC version

Post by Frieza2000 »

Out of meticulous curiosity, what are the differences between the PC and genesis versions? Music, sound effects, glitches, menus, whatever you can think of.

Edit: For future reference, it's exactly the same except for some slightly different sound effects. The GBA version on that sega collection, however, is horrible. The BG layers are screwed up in the opening/ending and some points in the game itself. There's different sound effects, TONS missing (it can't even register all the sound effects that ARE there). GBAed music. No music on bonus tables. Can't shake table. No message screen on bonus tables (GBA screen too small). No boss music. THE ONLY MUSIC IN THE GAME IS TOXIC CAVE. The rocks only do 1 damage to first boss instead of bringing it to 1 hit left. The heads on second boss spawn unevenly and slowly. Sonic's winking animation during the ending is to the right of his eye.

It probably doesn't suck less.

I've never seen a PC version of Spinball. And here I thought they ported ALMOST every game to PC. I guess I was wrong on that one.

It was only included in some Sega Smash Pack type collections. I use to have it, I think, but I don't know what became of it.
