Is it possible that your adoration for what Neil's drawing is of blinded you to how good a drawing it actually is?

Yeah, I have to say that I'm not impressed with all this style over quality nonsense.

Popcorn's drawing was clearly the better one, mine having various problems with the spikes and eyes. YOU SHOULD HAVE VOTED FOR HIM.

Only 14 out of the 28 voted because it was Sonic CD though. Or there abouts.

Well, since this poll is closed, I guess that I can admit that I did.

Actually I liked your spines better. Popcorn's were looking sort of limp.

I voted for Popcorn, but only because he named himself after a snackfood.

The SA-style spines are limp. They're sort of floppy and bouncy. I'm actually pretty pleased with the way I got them to look weighted and full but with a slight hint of sag, like a pert breast.

Neil's favoured classic-style Sonic (specifically the Sonic CD model) has spines straighter than Zeta's sexuality though. Obviously it isn't hard to be straighter than Zeta's sexuality, but it was the only vaguely funny thing I could think of.

To be honest, the feet killed the entire drawing for me. They've got some sort of impossible perspective Escher thing going on.

It's really ambiguous as to whether he is raising one foot or whether they are both on the same plane.

That's just the problem, they aren't pert at all, and there's way too much sag, nasty old breasts. Whether Adventure-styled or otherwise, the spines always have some "spring" to them. If anything, yours look like he just came out of the water or something, they're weighted down too much. It might just be the angle, though.

Eh, I liked Pop's spines better than Neil's. They seem to have more of a... presence than Neil's.

Actually, those spikes turned into hair. Rock singer hair.

Let me put it this way:
I like Patricia Arquette's breasts better than Gwen Stefani's, but I still think that Gwen Stefani is hotter. It's the whole package, man.
