DarkPrime wrote:I found my CD. It's the "Jet Grind Radio Music Sampler". It features:

Rob Zombie

I got the CD free when I bought Jet Grind Radio.

So, any suggestions as to where I can download the OST?
Man, I remember that stupid thing. I was so disappointed when my "free soundtrack CD" wound up having that crap on it instead of any of the original music.

I'm not sure where a good place to download the Japanese OST is... I actually own a real copy. But even the OST only has about half of the songs that were in the game. Most of the lisenced stuff, like the Guitar Vader songs, are MIA.

As far as shocking revelations go, today I discovered that "Deep Throat" is not just a character on Metal Gear Solid but actually a very real person. This should have been obvious to me though considering how Snake and Colonel talk about the Watergate incident.

If it helps my case any, I've only briefly played through Metal Gear Solid.

That has nothing to do with anything, really, but it's still definitely a point against you.

Meh, I've seen worse. A friend of mine was showing me the ending to MGS3, and I was like, "Whoa, it's President Lyndon B. Johnson."

And he said, "How do you know what that his name is?" (I never played MGS3)

To which I replied, "Cause that guy was the fucking president of the United States."

To which he replied, "HE WAS REAL?!"

OK my turn.

President Lyndon Baines Johnson's name is commonly abbreviated to LBJ. When enunciated, it sounds like "El BJ," which is Spanish for "The BJ."

America's 36th President is the act of inserting one's penis into the mouth of another. SHOCKING!

"What famous Lincoln speech begins with 'Four score and seven years ago'?" on a rap radio station call-in contest.

The callee had no clue. Even after the host spelled out "The... Get... ease... berg..."

Just a couple of days ago, someone asked me if I could burn the Internet onto a CD for them. After talking to them for awhile, I realized they thought the Internet was created by AOL and run by Microsoft.

This is a little better than the person who asked me how many times her bank would lose her info and e-mail her asking for it.

I remember asking a guy if he would like me to burn a cd for him to which his reply was "You aren't putting any of my CDs in a fire, you'll fucking ruin them!"
This was followed for a double whammy after I explained it would make a CD and not destroy it when he asked "Where does the fire come out of on the computer?"

Meh, American public schools are just as bad.

Sophmore year History class:

Teacher: "What does R.A.F. stand for?"
Student: "Franklin Roosevelt!"

Same class:

Teacher: "Does anyone know the name of the forces we fought against in the Vietnam War?"
Same student: "Japan!"

It was also really funny cause that girl was damn-sure that she was right.

Oh yeah, and this little nugget of intelligence from my Computer class Senior year:

Student:" What language do they speak in South Korea?"
Teacher: *stares in disgust* "Well... What language do Korean people speak?
Student: "Oh! Chinese!"

I knew a girl who swore that California was on the East Coast. Also a man who insisted that we found nukes in Iraq.

My brother had a teacher who put this question on a test:
"<i>When</i> did Ponce deLeon <i>discover</i> the Fountain of Youth?"

One of my teachers asked me once what the limit of f(x)=1/x as x approaches 0.

Please. Some people in my high school didn't know how to read, let alone speak proper English...and this doesn't include the many Spanish speakers in my area...

A study once showed that 1 out of every 3 Americans couldn't find the Atlantic Ocean on a map...

Back on the music sound-alikes topic, Strong Bad's Trogdor song sounds a lot like the FF7 battle music...

My mom didn't know who George Washington was. She also didn't know that Julius Caesar was real.
