Because I don't know how to work them spoilers text, I'll just shout out, "SPOILERS" for those who actually care:

In truth, I actually felt a bit sorry for Anakin when his limbs were chopped off and he started to burn like a freakin' Jedi human marshmallow.

Did... did you SEE the original trilogy?

Also: Besides Christensen, the acting was pretty good. It's hard to make Lucas dialogue into something good.

Portman's acting was pretty horrible.

Also:

"You are so beautiful.
That's because I’m so in love.
No, it's because I'm so in love with you."

BARF!

Not yet (I wasn't too big on Star Wars back then, I'm still not, but I'm a bit more interested), so forgive me if anything I say affects the original trilogy. I won't really give a final score to the prequels unless I've seen the original trilogy.

Anyone else notice that Amidala went from whiny bitch who did stuff to whiny bitch who did nothing but be a whiny bitch and give birth?
Concerning Portman's acting ability, she's really quite good. I just think Lucas did a suck job at directing her.

I found Episode III quite enjoyable. However the way that Darth Vader's mug's plastered on every single poster, promotion and advert kind of pissed me off considering how he's only in the film for about five fucking minutes.

I didn't think Episode III sucked either. Granted, yes, I still don't like the corny lines/bad acting, but I found the story enjoyable, the music friggin' spectacular (so much so that the next time I'm at the mall, I'm buying the soundtrack), and generally entertaining through out.

Well, even Lucas can't go wrong with John Williams.

He is kinda the POINT of the entire film, though.

I expected Darth Vader in Episode III to come near the ending anyways. It's not like Darth Maul who's been shown practically everywhere in Star Wars back when Episode I was hyped, but showed only for like 10% of the entire film, and even then, he got cleaved in two...which sucks since he could have had a lot of potential. Plus, I really liked the character design...

John Williams is an overrated hack that's been rehashing the last 15 years or so of his work.

Some rehashing is to be expected when a guy has been composing since the early '50s.

Yeah, I know but I was hoping that he'd play a bigger part than what he did, guess I was deceived....

On another note, I felt very nostalgic upon seeing the Imperial Star Destroyers and the guys wearing their uniforms as well as Darth Vader's transformation, but then I was struck by a thought, "Wasn't the whole point of this new trilogy to revive nostalgia?" Made me realise how shitty the new trilogy is, Episode III nonwithstanding: it's pretty different from the original trilogy but still a respectable film.

Chewbacca didn't have a lot of screen time either. All he did was hang out with Yoda and that other guy (Tarful?)

More nostalgia: the Tantive 4 (Princess Leia's spaceship from Ep. 4),
scouttroopers and snowtroopers, and what looked like early AT-STs.

And the death star. Complete with admiral Tarkin, or whoever it is with the messed up cheeks.

Did they use makeup on that guy or did he just happen to look like Peter Cushing?

They sure took a hell of a long time to finish building that Death Star.

It could have been just a prototype.

It takes time to construct and get into working order a battle station the size of a small moon.

Hey, they probably had spare stuff from the last Death Star. Y'know. Just lying around. On a planet. Somwhere.

The obvious answer is that they started work on both Death Stars around the same time.
