I think it'd be difficult to deny that the new Advent Children trailer is impressive, even if you're only talking from a technological standpoint. But for some reason I actually got goosebumps when the fight with Bauhamut started, and I'm really not even a huge fan of FF7 to be honest.
Damn. Now that I was thinking about buying a PS2...
And the new controller really sucks. It really looks like a third party controller. Those that don't fit well in your hand and you usually have it because it's cheaper than the original and you're only going to use it for the player 2 anyway so it's not your problem actually because probably your neighbour will play with it and get a wrist disfunction.
How is it good that Squeenix support the Xbox 360 with a port of a two year old game instead of something orignal? Why do I get the feeling that the extent of their support of Xbox 360 will be the same as their support of the GCN?
Revolution -- It's tiny, (supposedly) stronger than Xbox 360, and it looks good enough to eat off of.
Still no pictures of the supposedly weird-ass controller, but as long as they put Zelda on that thing, I don't care if the controller is a vibrating dildo that makes Pikachu noises.
Big glowing DVD-port >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> your cock

So, Nintendo finally makes a system that at least looks like it takes itself seriously! Too bad the controllers will be giant squeeze balls or monkeys or whatever.
The Revolution is the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen. I'm going to buy it even if there aren't any games I want for it, because I need to own that.
Well, it's got nothing on the PS3, but it's still the best-looking Nintendo system ever, and rises well above the obtuse 360. I'm reading that blue slot as the disc tray, which, if that's the case, I rather doubt will glow blue.
I'm really curious to know more about how Nintendo's download service is going to work. Mainly, can you download the games permanently, or are they essentially "rentals"? Either way, it's a great idea... especially if they really are going to make their entire back catalog available. Obviously its no substitute for actual new games, but it's certainly a nice bonus feature that only an older company like Nintendo could really pull off.
But I guess we'll have to wait quite awhile before seeing much in the way of Revolution footage... or of its controller.
The download service is going to be the big selling point, and it will definitely sway the casual masses who either never owned the older systems or have long since parted with them. It'll also appeal to the kiddies who wear the Hot Topic 1up mushroom t-shirts. It's kind of a tragedy, though, that Nintendo's heritage is the last thing the company has going for it.
