The whole thing about EA completely sucking is pretty exaggerated. Yes, a large number of their titles are trash, their sports titles feature minimal upgrades each year, they're completely incapable of making a decent movie tie in and overall their dominance isn't healthy for the industry.... but still, they do produce some decent titles. Personally I never buy any EA games but I'm not so ignorant I'd label the SSX franchise as crap or say that Burnout sucks (yes I'm aware that's Criterion but they are one of EA's studios). I'm sure there's others I'm forgetting.

Ironically EA also seem to be one of the most dedicated third parties to the Wii just now as they've set up a new studio specifically for Wii development. From what I've seen Madden is also apparently one of the better examples of how to use Wii controls in a traditional gaming experience to date.

Pssshhh.... Konami International Superstar Soccer (SNES) spanked that shit.

But I will admit, I was impressed by FIFA '96 on the 32X.

Well I played the Fifa 95 FOR PC, so it was as cool as the 32x FIFA 96…

Fuck that! World Cup Italia's penalty kick was nearly impossible.

World Soccer was much better. The music was far superior.
