So yeah, these are part a comic series I made for my school newspaper that about halfway into the school year has yet to print their first goddamn issue. And I thought I would have trouble keeping up with deadlines. They were turned in rough because the paper asked me to make them about a week before their supposed first printing.

I don't understand what the holdup is but I've decided to go ahead and draw some more since I need a project to commit to and I still have some (hopefully) funny ideas bouncing around in my head for it.

It's really just a comic based on the conversations me and friends have at school. I'm trying to use it to analyze and mock teenage/high school life (Hence the name "Social Studies") but who knows if I'll get that far.

Here's the latest one. I don't want to make a gaming comic, but I saw an opportunity for a Wii related thing and seized it:

Still rough, but I'm hoping the gag works. It's not just about those two, but since I love to make fun of my nearly emo "realist" friend Kyle they may pop up a lot. I realize that the positive one(whom I've dubbed "Rick") will make some think of Gabe of Penny Arcade fame, so don't beat me up over it too much. He's supposed to look more like this but I keep fucking it up for whatever reason.

I'm not looking for a props parade or anything, so if you think it reeks go ahead say it. Say something. Whatever it takes to keep this topic alive. One pic every 2 months isn't enough. :(

And no, I haven't finished that Sonic pic I was doing. Color scares me I think. I appriciate the comments though G. Silver( I kinda liked the angry eyes too, though it looked a bit more like he was grumbling to himself instead of getting ready maul Sonic).

Both these images got mediocre hits by my standards (about half what a dinosaur or killbot gets), so I figured, y'know, isn't DA all gay for mermaids? I guess the people who watch me are too cool to fall for that trick.

DA is pretty gay for mermaids and in general. They happen to like yaoi harry potter art if you're into that. I like your MS girl very much. That idea has always really appealed to me. Silver I think you starting watching on on DA recently if I'm not correct.

thanks. Too bad he had no character what so ever. (although that could be explored in online missions. However if they didn't even BEGIN to do so in the 40 or so hour story mode, they probably won't in the online campeign.)
