That reminds me of Cell (or Cel?) from DBZ, except your guy actually looks a little intimidating. Are you going to shade it, or just leave it flat like that?

I can't really shade for shit, I might give it a try though. I'll just have to see if I can find some tutorials.

Hey, it looks awesome (I can't believe I used this word). Kinda looks like some leaf warrior.

I'm reminded of a Japanese live action hero. Just put him on a motorcycle.

Really? I couldn't tell because of the asses they hired to dub Sonic Adventure / Heroes.

I still like the English VA for Big more than the Japanese VA. He's supposed to be stupid.

I think Big is more absent-minded than stupid (not that you get to see him do anything that would require him to be intelligent in Adventure or Heroes anyway). The English dub, however, just makes Big sound like a total idiot. It's fine for what it is, but I've never cared much for the English or Japanese voice acting in the Sonic games anyway.

I thought Big was to be more simple minded and slow then stupid. There's a big difference, Chris.

That's the reason why he's so big, he constantly has the munchies!

My first impression was that the angular lines in his pants make them look metallic. Then I thought maybe they were a robotic mobility enhancer for legless gastropods a la Earthworm Jim's super suit.

They don't really look metallic to me. The snail does look a bit off though, I think it might be because he is wearing jeans and has legs.

I like him. He seems pretty spunky, which is an unusual thing for snails.

Anyone remember Blubonic the Blowfrog and Snails from Gamepro?

I actually thought it was kinda cool.

Please, be gentle, I'm a bleeder. I didn't mean to take as long as I did coloring him. This really was supposed to be a boredom sketch, and it shows, considering how weird some of the proportion is on like, his boots and his right arm.

Then I was like, "Hay, I'll color him real quick." Yeah, four hours later, it became "What the fuck am I still doing this for".

Edit: My host is having troubles. If the image doesn't display for you, I also posted it at DeviantArt.

His face seems too wide and I think his right wrist is broken. I actually really like the coloring though.

While on the topic, I made my own.

It was all drawn in MSPAINT with a broken mouse.

Well you're significantly more talented than I expected SegaSonic, that's turned out pretty well although the character himself still obviously looks really gay.

I think BlazeHedgehog's colour scheme actually improves the design a tad though. He looks a bit better in blue than the horrible grey in the screen available. I'm still hoping that it could all be a convincing fake though.

EDIT: I see you've changed yours a bit since I posted SegaSonic, he looks a good deal better with that lighter tone too.
