Art Image Night 2005, just what the hell is it?

It seems that it’s an event of some sort, or it could be an album, one that has been created by the Japanese division of HMV (the music, film, and video store). And it’s because this event is Japanese that the whole thing has slipped under the radar to all but those Sonic fans of the Japanese division.

Famitsu’s talking about it, Act Treasure’s talking about it, in fact most Japanese games sites are talking about it, and yet I still don’t have a f***ing clue what it’s about.

And why is it I don’t know, well it’s because everything’s written in Japanese; in fact my only clue to the existence of this event was an easily overlooked link on the ‘Sonic Channel’ website. After clicking the link a small flash box was opened revealing Japanese text, the ‘Art Image night 2005’ logo, an image of Shadow, and the suggestion that the event was sponsored by ‘Shadow the Hedgehog’ in order to promote HMVs' 15th anniversary (which I presume is also a connection to Sonic).

The even could possible be a concert, as ‘m-flo appears alongside Shadow in the promotion, and there appears to be a line-up of other artists performing: Art Image Night 2005

Please don't make fun of my face, it lowers my self-esteem.

I can't help it. Your misery is hysterical to me. It makes me giggle.

and The Doc talks about how misery makes him smile again. Are you some kind of anti-happy or something?

He's pro-happy, obviously. It's just that other people's misery cheer him up more efficiently. If you stick a pin in your scrotum I'm sure he'll be dancing all over the table. Actually, that would be pretty funny. In your own time, lad.

As for being on-topic, I have no idea what this is all about. I see in the poster there that it's supported by Shadow the Hedgehog. That can't bode well.

Oh! Just because I have big titties, that automatically means I'm adept at table-dancing? Is that it?
