Yeah, just go ahead and drop that paintbrush, put on a nice tie and sell your soul to THE MAN.

We'd have to sell our soul to SOME MAN if we wanted to get into an art-ish career.

THE MAN is fortified with several essential vitamins, such as calcium and the fires of hell.

Well, that comment certainly won't lead to a gay joke.

Well, I certainly wouldn't want to bankrupt the beauty of that statement by making a joke about it.

Yeah, I guess I did kind of leave it open to suggestion.

What's the difference between a bug and a glitch, again?

I don't think there's a difference, really, regarding videogames. People use the terms interchangably when talking about games.

Glitch can be used as a verb withassholeout sounding awkward.

The word bug was derived from when computers were extremely huge, and a computer malfunction was pinpointed on an insect/bug getting into the physical system.

The word bug is now universally known as a malfunction in the system (whether there's a real live bug inside or not).

Glitches, on the other hand, are blamed on inherit problems in the programming, or problems not caused by an external source.

Nowadays, these two words are synonymous.

Doesn't make it correct, I thought.

No me neither. Very good though.

Oh, I'm about to start university reading Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering. I went to the same college as Popcorn and we had real 'fun' everyday. Japes and things, you know.

EDIT: Sorry, pretend I posted that at the bottom of the last page and it'll make more sense. It's all this Korean air getting to me I think. (I'm in Korea you see.)

I still love the way you can go to any page on any long thread in this forum and scroll to a random point, and it'll feel like a whole different thread.

Anyhow, I'm graduated. Bachelor of Arts. That's right I WASTED THREE EFFING YEARS. Am currently working for da man shuffling dockets behind a bank desk.

Okay, first off, you guys all have awesome educations and plans, and whatnot. Personally, I'm hoping to get into the New York Film Academy in... New York (I live in Southern Connecticut, so it's the closest branch they have). I've always wanted to work in film, televsion, and yes, even radio, so this would be pretty cool. I also know some people in the local Independant Film/B-movie circuit, so that's another thing in my favor. I'm also hoping to get some writing work for done for, Hell, anybody!... I need the cash, dammit! Anyhow, I also hope to start a small publishing/DVD/CD company, and make... stuff. Also, I'm gonna start that online... eh, you know.

I also hope to get into a full-fledged University after I get enough money... and take my S.A.T.s... Well, okay, I know I should have taken them during high school, but... I've been busy!

*scowls*

Anyhoo, that covers just about all myshort-term goals. So, anything else?

I am currently in the application process to a couple of universities. I was considering a journalism major, but was told by one of the editors of the Dallas Observer that said the major was pointless and doesn't do anything but teach you a crappy writing style called the upside down pyramid. You put the "extra" (read: good) stuff last in article so that it's easier to cut during the editing process. I recently got a 1490 on my SAT (counting the important sections), so I'm not too nervous either way.

Also, I'm back.

I'll be in my sophmore year of high school starting August 15. Chances are I'll probably get shitty grades like I did last year, but that's okay since I'm still smarter than a lot of the people at my school, nyah.

Incidentally, I'm back too, but I'm sure no one really noticed I was gone.
