I have never been able to beat Ikaruga, which I regret. I do have seen videos of the stages beyond the beginning of the fourth though, and know of the game's artistic brilliance. Yet this video simply amazes me; I don't think I've ever actually been able to use the word "beautiful" in its entire and rich meaning on a video game before:
