Seriously! Waiting for it to come to DVD would be a huge, unforgivable mistake. It just ain't one of them kinda flicks.

I'm about to begin the space stage (world 4) in SPM and so far I've really been enjoying it. All of the 2D-to-3D puzzles so far have been clever, the writing has been funny ('specially Francis the Lizard), the music's good, it looks good, the controls are really comfortable... it's just all good. I ...

Grindhouse: Planet Terror and Death Proof

I saw this last night in a packed house. This seems like the sort of movie that would be perfect for a drive-in, but seeing it in a little college town in Bowling Green, Ohio was the next best thing. I had fun the whole way through. Really, it didn't feel so much like going to see a movie as much as...

They said Sonic2k6 was a "reinvention" as almost a tagline to sell units, just like they did with Heroes. They only said it becuase they had a game to sell. However, they don't have any Sonic games to sell now, so they're not using it as a promotional gimmick. I think they're actually serious this ...

I don't fully understand the argument that 3D Sonic titles don't "feel" like Sonic. What does that even mean? Mario 64 didn't "feel" like SMW or the NES titles at all (and Mario Galaxy doesn't look like it will either). To name a few of the differences, the life system was completely different, Mari...

The Olympics are pretty cool, and videogames are pretty cool. Trying to shove them together means you're pretty much missing the point of both. What does that even mean, "missing the point"? We shouldn't have sports video games? God, this whole thing is stupid. Why couldn't it be "Mario vs. Sonic i...

This was already in a different topic. Anyway, they said this before Sonic 360 too (that it's a "reinvention") and none of this means a jillion Sonic titles won't be turned out - just that they'll probably be on Nintendo consoles.

That information is still coming from SPOnG, so it's not yet reliable. We've been talking about this in the news thread.

At first I wasn't sure how I felt about all of this madness, especially a Burger King movie. But then I thought, well, what's the difference between this and a Sonic the Hedgehog show or movie? It's a different corporation's mascot and there's as much story behind the King as there was for Sonic dur...

Honestly, I didn't use the brake system very much after Pirate Storm because it takes too long to stop. An easier way, I thought, was just to slide with 2, do a short hop and then jump cancel - and you're dead in your tracks and charging for the next leap.

I'm pretty sure that was 100% a rumor that has been proven quite false. Logically, if sonic team were already whoring out levels with challenges to expand replayability, there's no way in hell they would keep one, much less two , complete worlds secret. Yeah, that's what I figured but the only thin...

For the hell of it, here are the three that I thought most deserved to win the prizes. 1) Opa Opa. Like I said before, it's a creative approach to show an unusual viewpoint of a familiar 2D location rather than characters posing. I get the feeling most people here can draw a decent looking Sonic (or...

I didn't care for Levitated Ruin much either (although the chase on the back of the gargoyle was rad, even if you weren't doing much), nor did I like Evil Foundry. The most fun, I think, were Skeleton Dome and Night Palace, which is a shame since they're the last two! I heard that if you get so many...

Honestly, I think Sega's on-rails light gun shooters would be perfect for Wii. Another House of the Dead or Virtua Cop would be neat.
