Re: Sonic Generations

Pretty much, but the level design is vastly improved. There are some pretty sneaky shortcuts, and I don't think I fell into a pit once!

Re: Sonic Generations

Summer of Sonic, motherfucker! Me and Lee were the coolest guys there. I can vouchsafe that Sonic Generations is indeed fun for all the family. I can also vouchsafe that Mike Pollock is a really nice bloke.

Re: Sonic Generations

Now who sounds joyless? Just take a deep breath and think about how glorious Chemical Plant is going to look in HD! If Silver Sonic (shut up I know) is in this, it's a day one purchase for me. Like, a queueing-up-outside-the-shop-at-8.59am-on-day-one-purchase. And I don't even have a PS3! Or, you kn...

Re: Sonic Generations

While there are some pretty backward level choices there ( four city stages ? come on, man), a couple of those bosses really pique my interest. Are we going to fight Metal Sonic in Stardust Speedway? And Death Egg whaaaaaaaaaat yes please But seriously where the hell is Hydrocity Zone fuuuuuuuuuuuuc...

Re: Ladies and gentlemen, the death of EA Sports

I really don't understand this. The idea of selling products in a physical store seems like the fucking Moon landing to these people (i.e. of questionable validity). A room filled with only EA Sports titles also sounds a bit like one of the upper circles of Hell.

Re: Sonic Generations

Sonic & Tails already has Dimps physics! They're missing a trick there. Seriously though, I'm not sure why they leaving so much out apart from laziness . Sonic Team's been shoving the Game Gear titles up our arseholes since, what, Mega Collection? And the lack of direct mention of Sonic CD is very u...

Re: A joke

So I went orienteering last week, and it took absolutely ages. Who knew that China was so big? Went into a shop to buy some pencils and notepads and stuff. The bloke behind the counter wouldn't move an inch, because he was selling stationary. I get really paranoid from smoking weed. Someone called m...

Re: Tetsuhiko Kikuchi: Draws with a mouse?

It took me about five years to discover Layer > Multiply. Now I can colour my lineart like I'm using felt tip pens! Which is great, because anything other than the paint tool is all high-tech wizardry for hipsters. Kids on my lawn, etc.

It's an angry steam locomotive with arms crawling along a rocky track next to the ocean. Obviously.

Re: Phantasy Star Online 2

We could make a chat room! Or a conference call on Skype, or something. Even if we don't use our human voices it's good to have some sort of persistent chat box, since the one in PSO sucks multiple dicks. I'm away on business (re: girlfriend) 'til Thursday, but I work nights normally so I can accomm...

oh! well, I do too! In fact I was just on for the first time in months the other day. Our monster hunter date may have not worked out J-man, but it'd be great to trash some boomas with you. Anyone else on? We should have a GHZ meet up. With lv 1 characters. YEP. Get everyone on Skype or Vent for ad...

Re: Phantasy Star Online 2

Since we were (briefly) on the subject, and since you clowns ignored my last topic, just thought I'd throw it out there that I still play PSOBB on the schthack servers. Totally free, tons of cool stuff, with the added bonus of playing with me, which is almost definitely worth the price of admission ...

But now it's set in foggy old London town! When the games are over, Sonic and Mario can adjourn to the local pub and enjoy a pint of fish and chips.

Re: Sound of Speed OCR Album

Well, there's pushing the envelope, and then there's rolling up the envelope into a point and poking you in the eye with it every fifteen minutes. I like to sink my teeth into a decent remix every now and again. One of my favourite house tunes is a remix, in fact , and takes a massive piss on the or...

Yeah, after you beat him in SoR3 you just hold Special and you can play as him next round. Works the same way for Shiva.
