Re: Tell me about your tastes. . .

Lately I do try to think of games that I really like that are more recent, or at least aren't 16-bit. I could make a list of 10 games just limited to the Genesis and still feel like that was a perfectly great list! Man, tell me about it! I feel like such a prude with all these old 2D games dominati...

Hey! Hey, guys! I'm an artist now too!

Posting it now before I start seriously doubting the quality of my work. No takebacks.

Re: Tell me about your tastes. . .

Pretend I wrote Doom 2 instead if that's easier to swallow. On the other point, I'll not budge an inch.

Re: Tell me about your tastes. . .

I had a precompiled list sitting right here for that fateful day where someone would feign interest over my taste in games. I could go up to 50 in approximate order of preference, if you want! 1. Radiant Silvergun (Saturn) 2. Silhouette Mirage (PS1) 3. Super Monkey Ball (GC) 4. Clockwork Knight 2 (S...

Re: Sonic Generations

No, it makes Sonic 4 Episode 1 completely useless because that was just a mediocre rehash of existing zones from Sonic 1 and 2. The PR team is convinced that Episode 1 was just a warm-up for the original content to come, so it's still something to look forward to, I guess!

Re: Sound of Speed OCR Album

Have you... never visited another message board on the entire internet, ever? That's how it's normally done. No, posts are relocated to a publically viewable Shame Receptacle so no context or drama nectar slips through the cracks, and when a person is banned, it's always made abundantly clear in so...

Re: Sound of Speed OCR Album

Yeah! He was driven off by virtue of pure shame. The way it should be done, y'know, instead of silently disabling an account and pruning the offending posts, which is funny because I'm pretty sure the edit/delete time limit was first imposed because "depublishing" was apparently such a huge problem....

Re: Sound of Speed OCR Album

(Where did the musical holocaust posts go?) Someone's been censoring all of Kogen's Jew-related posts, and he just got permbanned with a sneak undetectable extermination for showcasing his Jewish pride in his avatar and personal info. Anyone want to own up to this? The GHZ's usually a lot classier ...

Re: So... Portal 2

It does look a bit nerd-pander-y to me, I must confess. Then again, I'm not attracted to women. Fucking EWWW GROSS This isn't the first time I've seen someone complain about Chell's (totally unisex) redesign, and it still isn't making any sense to me. As if anyone ever sprung a boner watching the O...

Re: Sonic Generations

http://www.theghz.com/encyclopedia/images/4/49/Sonic3.jpg SCD era Sonic is the definitive "tough and heroic" Sonic to me. It's a damn good look for him. I see crazy-eyed assbrow Nike-grinning modern Sonic and the only image that ever comes to mind is that of some fratboy douche itching to do a keg ...

Re: What are you playing today?

SRB2 is easily the best 3D platformer I've ever played, I'd never grow tired of it if there were any talent left in the modding community. I'm not even sure why I'm bothering with Bug Too right now when I'd have three times as much fun playing the same game over again. Goddammit. And come on, man, S...

Re: Sonic Generations

They can do whatever the hell they want with Sonic as long as they stay away from Panzer Dragoon. Better to not put ideas in their heads by asking about it. The series' creator is already set to pseudo-ruin it with a pseudo-sequel for Kinect. Get pumped! But yeah, people have been begging for a 2.5...

Surprised? The Saturn is a proper modest Japanese console that doesn't want you to know about his good games.

Re: What are you playing today?

Just about had my fill of Purikura Daisakusen , which is wonderful. Also finally got around to playing Three Dirty Dwarves. Mediocre, charming, full of great ideas. Partway through Bug Too!, which is a definite improvement over what little I played of the first. Legitimately challenging platformers ...

Re: Massive tsunami hits Japan (JARED MATTE MEMORIAL THREAD,

Anyhow, I echo Ritz' suggestion - from the picture the media has been delivering, from over here it basically looks like an enormous radioactive Cthulhu is about to envelop that whole island with tentacles and drag it down to ocean floor. I don't know what the mainstream media is saying, but it's 1...
