Re: Does this make me gay?

I figured it was a hoax immediately after seeing the fridge label with "SHIT BURGER" scrawled on it in English. I didn't realize there was a video to definitively take the fun out of it! The debunker's unwavering conviction in stating that the Japanese would never ever eat their own poop makes me wo...

Japanese cuisine has reached its terminus. There simply isn't any place left for them to go!

Re: Does this make me gay?

So how exactly does one jerk off a fish, and how many loads does it take for one meal serving? Either that jizz constitutes ⅔ of a cod's body mass or someone very gay worked very hard to prepare that meal for you. Which is more frightening?

Nitronic Rush is unquestionably the best game about driving ever made. I haven't had this much fun with a game in ages. This came out of DigiPen?

Look. Look how good this game is.

Re: Sega release trailer for.. Sonic CD? What?

as well as a (highly exploitable, and thus missed ) glitch being fixed that allowed you to pass through walls (or skip entire levels if done at the very start of a stage; all CC1 runs rely on this strat) by obtaining speed shoes and charging a peel‐out longer than usual before releasing it right in...

Re: Sega release trailer for.. Sonic CD? What?

There's merit in the Japanese's aversion towards hacks on the basis that these could be considered an insult to the original developer, since they imply that their work is not good or—in itself—perfect as it is. Is this actually a thing in Japan? Care to cite your sources? I mean, Nintendo had no q...

Brute forcing passwords hacking. Even then, were people honestly expecting these guys to not try and use the information they put so much effort into stealing? Sony cockblocked them anyway.

That's actually one of the questions I asked. Somewhat related, he did a doodle just for us:

Naoto Oshima grants your heart's desire

If you could ask the man anything, what would it be? This is that time. This is that place. Actually, the time was about 5 hours ago and the place isn't at all accessible because the site was conceived and delivered in a tumble dryer. I don't even think they've mentioned the interview anywhere. Grea...

Re: Sonic Generations

It's Ocean Palace without water, with a bit of Rooftop Run thrown in. There goes my wildcard! Now I can truly say that there are only three distinct level tropes in this game. Really, I never thought I'd have to complain about a level being too green.

I missed Nintendo DS, CD-i and Amiga CD32.

Should've included one of the Sega CD startup tracks. All three minutes.

Re: Sonic Generations

It's sweet how Rouge was the only member of Team Dark that wasn't bastardly enough to prohibit an invitation. Really, I'm more surprised the Chaotix turned up when Sonic seems to go out of his way to avoid ever having to speak a word to them. Oh, and Knuckles thinks he's going to eat all the cupcake...

Re: Sonic Generations

It's going to be Taxman's remake. You know, probably. He's acting all weird about it on Sonic Retro and that's all the confirmation I need. I don't know if you guys know anything about him or his engine, but the game is basically in good hands and we might wind up getting some neat extras.

Re: "Unlimited Detail" non-polygonal game engine preview

It's not that clear cut. The technology is very real ("It’s a very pretty and very impressive piece of technology", Notch says)- they're clearly sidestepping any mention of the drawbacks, but that was sort of obvious even before this Notch guy thought to point it out. The engine still looks a hell o...

Re: Sonic Generations

You sure? Classic Eggman was supposed to appear in Stardust Speedway too, but they swapped his laser for a collapsing floor. We'll only be seeing him in the Death Egg fight and a few cutscenes if we're lucky. They could skimp on classic Amy with ease. Classic Knuckles' role in Sky Sanctuary was equa...

Re: Megaman Legends 3 Announced.

Cyberconnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama said that they would be happy to take over the development of Rockman Dash 3 [Mega Man Legends 3] from Capcom, he said that he really like the series. I didn't know this. It explains alot. I think I would trust these guys with Dash 3, but I'm sure Capcom wouldn't...
