Re: Power RangARRRRRRRRRRRS

I refuse to take an interest in Power Rangers for fear that I'll enjoy it.

Re: Sonic Generations

I always thought the idea behind Link* was that he was a representation of the player after they change the name to, presumably, theirs, in the same way that Ash was always meant to be the player in Pokemon. His design might match that, in the same way that Ash looks like an entirely generic child. ...

No. It's crude slang for humping somebody around here, but it's not an expletive.

Re: Guess the Sonic Generations Stages

Even though it's clearly a horrible game - again, the anomalous bastard child of the franchise - Heroes is still sort of a guilty pleasure. I thought the environments were nicely thought out, and the level design - before Rail Canyon, anyway - wasn't anything too offensive. The great soundtrack didn...

I think of Heroes as the anomalous bastard child. It didn't really play like any other game in the franchise.

Speechbreaker

Although it's perhaps a little out of the UK political season at the moment, I was digging around my bookmarks when I came across this . It's a tool that allows you to mix up speeches from the three political leaders into all manner of foolery. It's pretty fun. Here's my attempt at it from the gener...

Re: 80710A06

Thanks for fixing that, GG!.

Looking with a slightly cynical eye, most of those games have had a sequel or major expansion announced or released. I'd wonder if the potential for sequel sales is Sony's way of recuperating their losses.

Re: I can't think of a clever title about the Saturns contro

The Saturn controller wouldn't be my first choice for bringing into the USB age. It's possibly just a compatibility issue with my hands, but it feels lumpy and unpleasant to me. Now the second-revision Megadrive controller, that's another story. I used to have a clone of that controller for the PC m...

Keep in mind, however that your credit card security code (sometimes called a CVC or CSC number) has not been obtained because we never requested it from anyone who has joined the PlayStation Network or Qriocity, and is therefore not stored anywhere in our system. In that case, wouldn't the details...

My brother bought a PS3 the other day, and his opinion of Sony has just hit rock bottom. It's directly affecting me because his end of Portal 2 co-op won't work without PSN.

TF2 and Super Meat Boy. I had to convince my old dear of a mother that the protagonist of the latter was a tin of red paint.

Re: So... Portal 2

Pre-ordered, collected, and completed it. And it's oh so very very good. Exactly the high quality I expected from Portal's sequel. That said, a lot of things from the trailers - most notably the pneumatic diversity vent and, for the most part, the crusher - seem to be AWOL. I trust Valve cut them fo...
