Poor Rotor. Now he's going to get all the gay jokes.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog IN THE THIRD DIMENSION
Actually, about the scoring system. What's the general consensus when it comes to the score resetting to zero apon dying? I remember a few here complaining about it. Should there be a better means or is it fine as-is?

^ Huh?
Anyway. In all seriousness, was there a single graphical tweak in DX that anyone found favorable? Besides sharper texture resolution and improved draw distance, I can't really think of a thing.

I too prefer the more westernized look that was featured in the actual games. It was the whole point after all. The animated CD/OVA design was the exception, not the rule.

Re: Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
Okay, to clarify (thank you edit lockout), Cid falls into the same loud, brash 'cut the crap' archetype as Barret - a welcome foil to the numerous convoluted plot twists and psychological fuckery. They also happened to be badasses, and were my personal favorite characters. I don't tend to like overl...

Barret's not all that different from your typical black action movie character. If he's Will Smith from Independance Day, then this new guy is Richard Pryor from Superman 3. At the very least, Barret didn't spend the first half hour of gameplay making a complete idiot of himself.

Not to mention Werehog's portion of the game was the only one to actually implement reasonably solid, fair platforming. As opposed to atrocious twitch mechanics and mess-up-you-die QTE that plagued the 'normal' Sonic levels.
