Just out of curiousity, has anyone besides Green Gibbon ever written a museum page?

It would be hilarious if Eggman were just King Arthur's crazy-ass court jester this time around.

Re: More Mario & Sonic at the Olympics?
I'd like to see Tails and Knuckles in this imaginary Sonic the Paperhog game, but I can't imagine how they would fly/glide whenever the wind was blowing.

Re: Sonic and the Quest for Phallic Compensation
I think the apron is entirely appropriate for him. He's probably the character with the best "Arthurian" design. Oh and another thing...
Knuckle's jagged armor kinda makes him look like his 3-D model from Sonic the Fighters. Anybody else get that impression?

I don't remember being a bitter nostolgiac until encountering the GHZ online. Since then, its been nothing but bittersweet memories and dehumanizing cynicism. So... Thanks?
Oh, and I pray for the swift return of Sonic 1-though-3+K'esque glory. It'll happen someday...

That Tails-blacksmith has a really great design. Amy, on the other hand... I suppose I can get used to. Her white dress really doesn't look that proper, somehow.

Re: Mysterious new SEGA game site online, By Takao Miyoshi
Hasn't it been that way since Sonic Heroes ? Where SEGA trumpets how great and amazing their new game is going to be, and then either expectations are built too high or the actual game itself is a piece of crap? Maybe it would best suit their interests to release games without much fanfare, and let ...

Probably. But at least they sure ran one hell of a (confusing) advertising campaign.Baba O'Riley wrote:
On a more relevant note, it seems like an interesting concept, but it's probably going to be ham handedly executed. From what we've seen so far, that looks to be the case.

...But... but... I'm not a guitar fondling queer... *sniffle* Well, enough of that. I have to agree with Zeta that this game could do better than cheap potty-humor though. Maybe they could somehow poke fun at stupid executive decisions in the videogame industry. There'd be plenty of content for that...

Re: More Mario & Sonic at the Olympics?
It might be interesting to divide the Sonic characters and Mario characters into two teams, and control them each at different segments of the story. For instance, in the beginning the game, you're able to control Mario and Luigi. At a certain point (at some climatic cliffhanger, perhaps?), you shif...

Re: Sonic and the Quest for Phallic Compensation
I know a similiar question has already been asked in the Weekly Poll section, but what specific American developers did you have in mind? Perhaps a new team at SEGA of America, or a third-party developer? This is purely a personal choice, but I've always liked (or at least tolerated) Dimp's take on ...

Re: Mega Man Nine
I like games that immediately release an adrenaline rush as soon as you play, and have enough variation to keep you interested in going back. I also tend to like games that haves soundtracks that complement high-speed gameplay and (perhaps contradictory) luscious and rich graphics. That said, the So...

Re: Sonic and the Quest for Phallic Compensation
Oh... A chili dog? So THAT'S what's in Sonic's hands... I honestly thought it was a couple of steaming logs somebody photoshoped in, because it looked rather brown due to the shading. Hence the horse poop comment. How ridiculous of me.

Re: Sonic Unleashed?
I don't think that's really a problem with the Wii version though. There are those little passageway paths, but they seem to be a lot wider and less congested with rails and other gimmicks. That makes it possible to see futher ahead and spot an alternative pathway, or set of springs, or enemy or wha...

Honestly, I don't see how the giant mideval landscapes Sonic is supposed to run through aren't supposed to have at least occasional piles of horse poop.

I'm really surprised to hear this, but given that a sequal was made for both Rivals and Riders, I suppose I shouldn't.

Re: Sonic and the Quest for Phallic Compensation
Although I can't remember many of the exact lines, I love the little idle conversations that the teams have in Sonic Heroes when you don't touch the controls for a minute or so. Especially Vector's "Damn. I forgot to pay the bills at the office." (heavily paraphrased) The odd thing is that most of t...

Re: Mysterious new SEGA game site online, By Takao Miyoshi
I thought that Pole character was going to be the focus of the game too, until somebody said he was a Famitsu character. I cannot decide which would be worse... Sega creating its own "Sonic clone" (with results probably similar to Billy Hatcher), or Sega bastardizing video game history, even if they...

Then again, you almost never hear of a German politician having some sort of big scandel. Just what do German comedy writers have for material? Besides US politicians.

Sadly, what nobody knows is that all those metals you collect in the game go towards forging that talking sword in Sonic and the Black Knight.
Also, have any of you guys played both the Wii/PS2 and PS3/X-BOX versions? How do the stages in each compare in your opinions?

I haven't played Sonic Adventure 2 for over a year. What scares me is that I STILL remember its obscure quotes. It demonstrates how skewed my priorities are.
