My apologys. I only read the delayed part; it was there when my brain started to spaz, seeing how the word "delayed" was accociated with a SONICTEAM game in the same sentance without "not" in the middle. An honest mistake.

EDIT: Strangly enough, I read this earlier.

SONICTEAM delays a game? Like that happens everyday.

Does SONICTEAM even exist anymore? Last time I checked, all of SEGA's divisions were absorbed back into SEGA's primary building about two years ago. I think they're just a name now. Unless SEGA Studios USA is a seperate division that still has not been absorbed, I'll shut the hell up. But yeah, the ...

Hold up, the hoverboarding sections in Ratchet and Clank were pretty cool, and they did not have an accelerate button. Neither did the boarding sections in Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2, which is what I reckon Riders is suppose to emphasize on.

Phhhht. It just takes one swift move of the alligator arms and Conan O'Brien will be victorious. It's a move so powerful, it spawns millions over millions of YTMNDs.

I wonder how Shadow the Hedgehog will hold up 15 years from now. The same way Totally Rad for the NES does now. We'll probably just look back at it and scoff. Nothing major... Unless there happens to be some sort of "Where Are They Now?" esque TV special of the Sonic series, where the narrator goes...

I was just humming that song before I even logged on. Although I think it was rigged too; Gunstar Green could've kicked their asses before even saying "Seven... FOOOOOORCE!" Mr. Rogers is acceptable, though.

Breaking news: Shadow the Hedgehog included on 1UP's Top 10 WTF Moments of 2005 feature. In number 2. It brings a good point too. The Genesis games did not have this city of multicolored furry characters poisoning the Sonic universe and sucking out all the individuality, and we, as adults, still lov...

Because all other series are consistant brillance. The Legend of Zelda series has done well so far and remained strong both in terms of critical and fan acclaim and sales and marketability. Why, of course. Nintendo takes their time to make sure each title in the series lives up to their full potent...

Shadow the Hedgehog - shit Sonic Gems Collection - repackaged games Sonic Advance 3 - shit Sonic Heroes - shit Sonic Battle - meh Sonic N - (shitty) repackaged game Sonic Adventure DX - repackaged game Sonic Pinb...

Heroes came out in Japan somewhere around December 2003, so if SEGA has been working on Sonic the Hedgehog since, then it has been in development for a little more than two years. I have no idea when third party companies got their next-gen development kits though. I reckon Sonic the Hedgehog will c...

Unlikely, since Shadow is in Sonic Riders. The way I see it, the Pocket/Advance/Rush games are their own continuum and have no connection with the 3D games. Of course, we have Sonic the Hedgehog coming in about six months which claims to "reboot" the series and establish its own continuum.

Thankfully, Rush has a lot more platforming elements than the previous two Advance games. Not as much as the Genesis games, but more on par with Advance 1. There's also a lot of room for exploration. I still haven't explored all the stages yet. And good idea, Frieza. The Tension Gauge should be powe...

The rotation engine seems more of a visual gag than an actual improvement on the formula, but I suppose it can be put to use in future level designs. I really would not mind seeing the Tension Gauge and trick system being put to use in future Sonic games. Sonic Rush gives you a cool sensation of fli...

Whoa! They are the bastard childern of an Egg-Robo and an Egg-Pawn. I think they were called something else beside Robo 1 and Robo 2 though. One Classy Bloke said they were called "E-10000g" and "E-10000r" in his list of Riders characters.

About the trick and boost system... Well, is there any other way to improve the 2D formula? We could throw in some new sheilds, S3&K style. We could make it so the Tension Meter fills up a bit less, evening out the use of Spindash and Rushing. Since Sonic Advance 3, I have been a bit fustrated about...

Yes, because a game requires all these things to be a good game in the first place. Hell, even if the game DID have all those things it wouldn't change the fact that it's a mediocre game with awful level design. I see you failed to read the rest of my post. I said if level design is the problem, I ...

Wing Fortress was a bitch. That's not really so much a spoiler as it is common knowledge. Incidentally, though, I seem to remember that Wing fortress made up for its plethora of falling deaths with excellent platforming action elsewhere. Frankly, I thought it was exhilarating back then since it was...

Sonic Rush wasn't nearly that good. Explain. I mean, so what if it doesn't have Ohshima's character designs, Nakamura's 16-BIT composition, or the surrealism of a Miyazaki film. It may not have the Ristar/Chaotix template we've been starving for since '95, but it doesn't feel like Sonic Advance eit...
