One of these questions has an actual answer. Air bubbles don't appear in Mega Muck. You never noticed?

Re: Miyamoto shows Wii Music to Preschoolers
I have to say, it sounds like preschoolers are exactly the target audience for this. I mean they love just banging on pianos, and they'll probably think this is so much cooler, if someone can set it up for them.

A lot of the point of putting everything on the left, though, was to put the avatars directly next to the text, no? And right now there's still that gap...
Alternatively, instead of fixed width, perhaps you could right-align all the profile stuff?

Basically the stage builder looks like a preliminary stage builder that you'd hack up to test the concept. Except that would probably let you set player starting positions.

I mean, the jump button is the same as the climb ladder button! And there are parts where you have to jump OFF of ladders! People tell me it's sacrilege, but I turned off the up=jump feature. My grasp on the gameplay improved exponentially. Oh, that's what he meant by the jump button being the same...

Re: So . . . Mario Kart
Because take snaking away, and the game really does just boil down to who gets the best items at the right times. You could argue that that's the "spirit of the game", but it doesn't make for a balanced competitive game. ...oh yeah, I'd kind of forgotten about that. :-/ I sort of assumed there was ...

And a reminder Hybrid: you're defending a technique you've already admitted to sucking at. ...And? Yeah, I suck at snaking. I don't see how that is at all relevant to whether its a broken technique? @Sniffoy: You seem to be getting confused between a "better technique" and a "broken technique". Bei...

Re: So . . . Mario Kart
It ain't just a matter of being better, it's being able to do something that puts you on a way higher tier of competition. I don't get the overwhelming opposal of anything slightly competitive in this forum. Snaking is a more effective way of moving forward than simply holding A, but it comes with ...

Yes, real players know how to deal with explosive crates/barrels/bombs/capsules spawning in front of them during a match and killing them. sarcasm This has never happened to me. Thing is, none of those items (Except perhaps the barrel, which shouldn't be a problem, anyway) are actually dangerous un...

Re: Smash Bros 3 Site Goes Live.
Hey everyone complaining about the music: you're complaining about the music! It's sort of ridiculous! Apparently the Brawl tournaments that Nintendo is hosting have (gasp!) items set to maximum. Non tourney players have been winning some of the bigger (read:city-wide) matches, and the tourney play...

Re: Smash Bros 3 Site Goes Live.
Smash Bros for the Virtual Console soon. The only reason to get it really would be nostolgia and the 9 original stages. Actually, considering how little memory it would take up, if any DLC is released for Brawl it will probably be an N64 classic stage pack. But Nintendo's never done DLC for a game ...

Interesting, as it means the icons really do only correspond to stages or characters rather than necessarily characters (for what that's worth now). So what icon does ROB get, if it's known? The unrevealed #19?

The more I hear about these "tourneyfags" the more I suspect they consist of internet 13-year olds who like to force other people to do things their way, and, having heard a bit about tournaments, and thinking Smash tournaments are obviously a great idea, figures this is obviously how they must be r...

They're doing it for Galaxy , though, despite not doing it for Sunshine (AFAIK) so don't completely count it out, either. I wonder how they'll do the Bowser fights? Include 3 separate songs for the different versions? Or one song that goes through the different versions as if a person were actually...

Well, according to the people who have played the demo, it's been made a bit more like the original.
Eh, I'll just post the link, I'm too lazy to remember exactly what it actually said.
