SO MUCH NEW SMASH CONTENT

You know, at this point, it DOES seem like it's a bit overdue. I mean, ever since the first Olympics game, we've gotten:

- Sonic in three Smash games
- multiple Nintendo-exclusive titles
- the Yoshi and Zelda DLC in Lost World
- Sonic amiibo costumes in Mario Kart 8 and Yoshi's Woolly World

So apparently the standalone Archie Sonic Boom comic is ending after the crossover, at issue #11. It's said that there may still be the occasional side-story in the main comics, though.

Donkey Kong. Arguably. Some would suggest he's further separated from Mario than Banjo-Kazooie. These people are best left ignored. Only because of the Rare games giving DK his own stuff. IMO him and Mario are about as strongly connected as any other Mario-series character, given they both debuted ...

...didn't the last game have a 3DS version? I seem to recall there being console and handheld versions being made for all the M&S games...

at any rate this doesn't surprise me, this is pretty much the ONLY major Olympics game made anymore isn't it?

Both of these sound pretty interesting, I'll give them that. I know I'd definitely buy a Colors/Generations compilation game, and that Digital Sonic game sounds almost like the Worlds Unite crossover, minus the Capcom bits.

Oh wow, wasn't expecting Amaterasu in there. I'll be really interested to see how everything turns out by the end of the week.

Heh, really? Has SEGA ever released patches for...well, any of their games? I know some of them get the odd bits of DLC, but never a full-on patch.

SO HEY there was a new Nintendo Direct all about the Wii U version of the game. Lots of cool stuff going on there!
