Re: Return to the Hundred Acre Wood
You mean Tangled? I'm going to see it sometime today. My expectations aren't very high, though.

Re: Get Equipped With B^U
I doubt it's sarcasm in this case. Especially on the 4-6 comment, which seems to be the universal opinion of Mega Man fans.

Re: Get Equipped With B^U
I hate 4 a lot. The NES series should've ended after 3. And 7 and 8 are nigh unplayable to me, personally. The desert pits are a cinch to avoid in Commando Man's level with practice. (Especially considering that you can jump from the sides of the pit to save yourself.) In fact, the game as a whole i...

Re: Get Equipped With B^U
I also hope it is not developed by the ones who made Megaman 10, as that was pretty bad. You mean the game that fixed many of the problems with Mega Man 9's unfair difficulty and cheap-ass level design, while also providing a much better soundtrack in the process? After 10, I've barely touched 9 si...

Re: A New Earth for my Pocket
SNK vs. Capcom. I remember that game being pretty cool. And maybe SNK Gals Fighters is cute if you want to see chibi versions of the King of Fighters girls beating the crap out of each other. There's also two Metal Slug games, but I never played them.

Re: Super Sonic Galaxy
So how IS the DS version, gameplay-wise? From what I've seen it looks like Sonic Rush sans Blaze and weird alien gimmick sections.

Also, since the time expired on updating my post, here is more friend codes of mine:
Brawl friend code: 0216-5370-3060.
Mario Kart Wii friend code: 0302-7342-6234.
I go by the moniker Morn or Morn Blue online, just a heads up.

Re: What are you playing today?
Been playing a lot of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Trying to get all the Star Coins. World 9's levels are some of the hardest I've ever played in a Mario game (with the exception of some frustrating, overly long Yoshi's Island levels, but still). Also, my Wii friend code is 2949 4457 5999 4581. I main...

Re: Return to the Hundred Acre Wood
Yeah, I could've worded that better. What I really meant to say was that ever animated feature Disney made after The Lion King wasn't as good as that or their earlier films. (I prefer Beauty and the Beast myself, too.) I think the two possible exceptions for me would be A Goofy Movie and Tarzan. I n...

Re: Return to the Hundred Acre Wood
Jim Cummings was definitely the highlight of the film. I liked the villain somewhat too, even if he did look more than a little like Jafar. The Lion King really did set a bar no animated feature from Disney has been able to touch since then, huh? Also, did you ever try to see/stomach Chicken Little,...

Re: Return to the Hundred Acre Wood
That does look great! Not sure if I'll end up seeing it, but I'm thrilled that Disney are still making hand drawn films. The Princess and the Frog was thoroughly entertaining throughout and looked gorgeous, so I was more than a little disappointed when I heard that Tangled would be CG. Really? I re...

Holding hands to play 2-player has to be one of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard of in a video game.

Re: Super Sonic Galaxy
I love the sonic that doesn't speak. OR! if he absolutely MUST TALK, just make it 100% text based. It would be cheap as well as tasteful. Although I guess that would end up pissing children off. Everyone knows kids hate to read. And this is why I'm still a Mario fan and not a Sonic fan. I'm so very...

Re: Super Sonic Galaxy
popular mainstream crap will always sell millions and the more niche games that take risks very rarely do. Then explain why you like Uncharted 2, then. It's mainstream after all, ain't it? Then again, I bought Sonic Unleashed on the 360 on the recommendations of near everyone on here that played it...

The first 16-bit Sonic game was my first one. I got it with my Genesis for Christmas '91. (We got rid of our NES soon after, though, including the games for it.)
I've also never, ever, ever liked the Saturday morning cartoon series. Even when I was 9 I thought it was shit.

Re: So I'm reading Scott Pilgrim
Also, now that I'm reading the comic book more and more, I find the pacing in the movie to be really off. Scott and Ramona's relationship makes a lot more sense in the comic book as the comic book spans a period of two or so years, whereas the movie takes place over the course of a few days. I think...

No. I'm pretty sure the level is not finished yet. Weren't there screen shots of Sonic Unleashed similar to this before it came out?

Same here. And even then, for years I didn't know Flying Battery even had Special Stage rings. I don't think I found out until I toyed around on Sega Mega Collection.Crazy Penguin wrote:I usually got the Flying Battery Zone secret ring from the side entrance.
