Re: Mysterious new SEGA game site online, By Takao Miyoshi
Man, I hope that Sega includes some of their own 8-bit legacy into this game, rather than just exclusively Nintendo's, as the screenshots suggest. I mean, I know that the general gaming public is well aware of 8-bit Nintendo nostalgia, but this is a SEGA game! Rather than looking at other companies ...

As fast as sound, pre-Chaos Control, and faster than sound, post-Chaos control. Unless you get Speed-Up boots. Then I don't know how fast Shadow goes. I don't think I want to.

A Sonic and Mario game? Set in the Middle Ages!?! Now, THAT might be interesting. I can just imagine it now...

Setting all the angst about playing through Bowser's body aside, it seems as if the Bros. Items are back. I hope they're a lot more interesting than they were the last time around.

At least Merlina (I assume that's her in the video) looks original. Until, that is, she removes her hood. Then she looks like a rather cheaply recycled Shahra. But that's nothing to get concerned about, I suppose.

Ugh... I agree with you, P.P.A., about the quality of Sonic '06's artwork, but just bringing that up is sure to bring up some explosive arguments around here...
Quick question: Do you still own Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast? I always prefered that version of the game, at least asetically.

Re: YE' GADS!!! Sonic '06 finally does something good!
Thanks K2J, but I was wondering more about how Sonic himself controls. On the Wii version, Sonic can't seem to turn well at all, making some of the Temple rooms a little annoying to navigate. Looking at the PS3 / 360 version of the Chun-nan Daytime stage on YouTube, I find it hard to believe that So...

I was gonna ask this on the Sonic Unleashed? board, but this seems like a convenient place to do so: Is there any difference between the handling of daytime Sonic on the PS3/360 version and the Wii/PS2 version? My entire experience with this game so far has been on the Wii.

I was out getting Sonic Unleashed at my local Best Buy today, when I wondered if Sonic '06 was still on the shelves. It turns out it was, in a X-Box 360 gaming bundle with Viva Pinata Party Animals and Shrek the Third . Apparently, part of the proceeds from the set goes to the Children's Miracle Net...

Hopefully a nice, bright red (for the lobster) if it's been boiled sufficiently.
I always assumed the front page (or at least the Museum) wasn't updated because of the general unfun unplayability of the Sonic games post-Heroes. But the new Encyclopedia seems to indicate otherwise.

Unlike Mario Party, in which nearly everything on the boards are decided by chance, the use of cards made Sonic Shuffle much more strategy based, meaning that the game could probably be a l...

Yep, I've played completely through all the Genesis Games, as well as Sonic CD, and enjoyed them all. Come to think of it, part of the personal appeal of Advance 2 for me was how close it came to replicating the graphical and musical richness of the classics. Gameplay-wise though, yes, Sonic Advance...
