Re: More Mario & Sonic at the Olympics?
Shadow and Luigi go super at the end to battle Metal Sonic, who using the power of the Olympic rings has transformed into a gigantic lumberjack-moose monster who you must duel in an extreme hockey match to save all of your friends and Canada. I enjoyed the boarding from SA2, so this looks neat. I j...

Re: Samus in Ninja Gaiden
Wow, I find myself looking forward to this. To begin, one of the things I wish I could do in Corruption is /was use my grapple beam to pull enemies towards me and shoot them at point blank range, now it appears that I will not even need a grappling hook, which is great. Continuing on, while I would ...

I am sorry, I meant that microwaving a hot dog was an abomination; I now feel ashamed of my punctuation.

HHHOOOTTTT DDDDDDOOOOOOOGGGGGGGGGGGGSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! The only hot dogs worth eating are the ones that are real meat in natural casings, that when you microwave,(an abomination, but..) grill or cook them in any other manner they swell up and split open a bit. Yeah, ketchup goes on my hot dogs, bu...

Re: The Great Sonic Continuity Debate
I felt too stupid to post this after my little sonic bible post, but concerning Sonic's ability to use the fake yellow emerald for chaos control: Tails states that the yellow fake has the same wavelength and properties as the real emeralds, just with less power. This suggests the fake could be used ...

And why has no one brought up these tomes yet?

And I cannot help myself; a "here-here" for retconning ShTH out of the game cycle, bring the story right back to the end of SA2 and go from there.

Re: I didn't send it in, really!
Sadly, anyone who joined in the last 3-4 years just managed to catch the last bits of glory it seems. I think the clincher for me to join was the great GHZ battle thing (the one with pengo vs. Naka vs. Popcorn's Mom vs.etc), and from there on things started towards their current state. Now only a fe...

You have no idea how much time I spent in that sonofabitch westopolis (and others) trying to beat that mission. Always missing just one!

http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e318/wooduck51/ohmy.jpg I drew the sketch in 2004; BUT REALLY, I DIDN'T SEND IT IN TO SEGA, HONEST!!!!! in retrospect maybe I should have.... I know, not that amazing, but I was going through some old pictures of when I dreamed of what a Shadow the hedgehog game co...

Forget about Sonic and the Black Knight, CHECK THIS OUT!
I saw this in the wild today (wal-mart), according to the back of the box you can customize Sonic to moonwalk or yo-yo, among other unnamed things.

I got an AWESOME chamois button up shirt, some waders, a gift certificate to the feed store that I buy my bird feed at, a shirt that says "I come with my own background music" and a few other miscellaneous things.

Re: Sonic Unleashed?
So Dimps has created a crummy PS2 game and ported it to the wii, whilst the 360 version resembles the possibility of a return to glory. I really wish the effing PS2 would die, and that an angry mob goes and torches dimp's headquarters.
Good to hear that one of the versions is good though.

Re: Sonic Unleashed?
SEGA proved my theory: they should take a hiatus from games and make short films, that was rather entertaining.

Great wumpus he turned the Earth into Aether! Also, this gives more leverage to the theory that SEGA should start making short films out of their Sonic game ideas. (though I may be proved wrong soon depending on "Night of the Were-hog")

Re: Post your artwork (56k warning)
I took advantage of the "you can enter more than one" clause because I made two and since neither was extremely amazing I figured I might as well send in both. Unfortunately one looks very much like the scene from SA2 and the other is good but not great, oh well, congratulations guys! http://i42.pho...

Re: "Sonic Chronicles" trademarked by Sega
Since I do not have a ds, and am unsure if this game justifies me buying one, I must ask; what is Shadow's mission is in this game? Is he a G.U.N. agent still? is he saving the world just because he can? did Big the cat insult Maria and Gerald's honor and Shadow is on a quest to eat Froggy?

Re: Sonic Unleashed?
At the very least it will be beautiful, now let us hope it can achieve being as good or better than SA2 (or SA, I kind of view the two games as being two parts to the same story, with the latter being the superior).

Re: Sonic and the Quest for Phallic Compensation
I should have clarified: the textures and lighting effects are very impressive (for some reason) to me. Other than that, yes, the game so far looks like each level will look exactly the same, will be comprised totally of gray and is totally unappealing in that all the surroundings are totally boring...

I hope that Shadow is a Chivalrous mute who is the loyal body guard of a young princess, and that at her request he has taken his sword of over wrought angst and set off to stop the spread of the emo demons that have transformed Arthur.
And the game sure does look pretty, does it not?

Re: Sonic and the Quest for Phallic Compensation
WELL FINE. I say this looks like it could be neat, just it should be Shadow with the sword. Then you guys could just brush it off as a non-sonic game and I could be foolishly looking forward to a game wherein Shadow returns to greatness. That being said the picture itself looks rather neat, and I ho...
