NOW this is a proper working forum. It's had it's first tacky overdone poll and now it's very first attention-whore. Doesn't it make you feel good to hear those gears turning with ace efficency?

I really felt good about Sonic Heroes by the time I was nearing the end of Team Sonic's story. My opinion didn't drop until I realised that I was going to have to play through more or less the exact same levels with the three other parties, and that the story wasn't going to get better until the ver...

Sonic3 & Knuckles, yup. Last and best game before the decline, and still a pretty damn fine game after the thing.

Actually, I'm surprised it took this long for a Favourite Game poll to appear. Aren't they a given?

'tis true. Which is probably one of the reasons why Metal wasn't mentioned at all in Sonic Battle. The Godzilla-thing wasn't bad, but I kinda wanted to see Metal Sonic kicking Sonic's ass in his cool new armour. After seeing his T1000-style quicksilvery shape-shifting abilities halfway through the g...

Don't much care for short-spiked Sonic, and I couldn't help but think of Eggman as looking just...silly. Mad scientist with robot armies can look clownish if they want, but they ought to look a wee bit intimidating as well. Not that there wasn't something appealing about a spiny-legged Humpty-Dumpty...

It's worth keeping Shadow around just to get the occasional break from the kiddiness. Espio, too.

I like characters who never laugh. Chuckle, maybe, but never laugh.

I wouldn't know. I rather enjoyed Knuckles Chaotix.

Heroes could definitely have been a lot less sucky, though.

Omega destroyed all the other Shadow clones at the end, right? It's been awhile.

Hope Metal isn't past his prime now that he's had a whole game to himself for playing the villain in.

You're probably right. Didn't make sense that Metal Sonic would start pumping out Shadow clones, since he only needed one to copy data from. Hope this doesn't mean a Matrix Reloaded type event with thousands of Shadows jumping about and doing stuff in a future installment. One of my favourite things...

Does Sonic Battle take place after Sonic Heroes?

What with these later games having this crazy idea of continuity in them. I know Battle was released prior to Heroes, but plot stuff seems to suggest the timeline is otherwise. Rouge mentions Chaos Gamma reminding her of Omega, who first showed up in Heroes. And nobody goes "Ahh! Ghosty!" at the sig...

Knuckles Chaotix was pretty good...yeah...

But them stand-alone games with Tails in 'em sucked...(what's the word I'm looking for, oh yes)...major rhino scrotum.

Is it so impossible to have a Sonic game with just the guy whose name usually fills half the tile? Thought so.

Had never heard of the GHZ a week ago, and am now totally non-carnally in love with it. Seriously, this site is exactly the kind of Sonic Team info hub I'd been looking for, so kudos to Green Gibbon and all the other creator people who aren't noticeable enough to have their names stored in the short...
