Re: Sonic Unleashed?
Incidentally, are they any other franchises that have been put into this kind of situation, where there's no conceivable way to please everyone? Of course there are. Take Zelda, for instance. When Wind Waker came out, everybody complained it didn't look serious enough, was too short and had too man...

Describing game over sequences is considered spoilers now?

For reasons unknown I ended up coloring this and for similar reasons I made it look like crap. But I didn't look at the finished picture while doing so!

Re: Sonic Unleashed?
Nextgen never looked good (to me, anyway). The tech demo looked good. Nextgen didn't. It angers me to no end that the Wii version is probably going to be the shorter end of the stick. They act like they want us to get the Wii what with releasing Secret Rings on it and Nextgen on the others, and then...

...at the bottom of the page?
Really? We're so awesome that we can afford to have ads at the bottom of the page, rather than right at the top of the page, prompting the user to scroll down?

Depends, were they spinning clockwise or counterclockwise? Or a bit of both, like in Heroes?

Re: Every bad videogame design decision
There's really nothing to spoil, though, except for the companion cube part, I guess. The beauty of the story is how it's played through the great and hilarious dialogue (or monologue?) by GLaDOS. I got the game "spoiled" for me too and it didn't affect my experience negatively in anyway. Just go pl...

Re: "Sonic Chronicles" trademarked by Sega
Actually, they were kinda worth it because we managed to see how the overworld plays, and how it's really as poor as they said it was. Sonic runs in it kind of like he runs in Sonic Jam. He tries real hard moving his legs, but it's like he's dragging around an iron ball or something.

Re: Every bad videogame design decision
Are you being sarcastic. The vague plotline was the whole point of the story progression! In Portal, you start out by simply waking up in a room and get dragged throughout this facility, being told what to do by an omnipresent computer, without knowing how you got in that situation, what exactly is ...

Re: The Official Poll Suggestion Thread
Let's have a Sonic fan game contest. Everybody gets like, a single week to make the most awesome Sonic fan game they can in their own direction and in the end we each play eachothers' and vote. The prize would be making this board look like the old GHZ board.

That is so out of character it's actually welcome. Also, good to see this game is keeping its "Fall 2007" release date.
Also Chaos.

Re: "Sonic Chronicles" trademarked by Sega
The issue with Big is that the voice didn't simply make him sound silly just like all the other characters. While Big's Japanese voiceover makes him sound relaxed and simple-minded, his English acting turns him into a hateful retard which deserves to be shot in the head whenever he makes a sound. He...

No, it's because you said it was his S3K pose, when he's been finger-wagging and foot-tapping since Sonic 1. That's why you fail. But it's cool, no-one minds. http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/6253/sonic1kx4.png http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/8827/sonic2jr5.png lol what its the exact same pose...

In an unrelated remark, I only just now noticed, after reading the posts immediately above, that Dasher and Arcade are two different posters.

The pictures were sent in by fans. They only titled it Sonic Rush because the only other logical thing to call it would be SONIC The Hedgehog.

The Death Egg had already been destroyed. This is set directly after S3&K, as the Death Egg is falling down to Earth. The first level in the game is The Doomsday Zone.
