Actually, they do. Even back on the N64. The levels are just so cramped that it doesn't come up much.

I further the motion. I also thought the level design was superb. There was plenty of unique, interactive terrain in each zone, secret doors and hidden things to be found (like the gold Robotnik statue in Wacky Workbench), and at least 2 paths to the finish excluding the last zone. There's so much t...

G.Silver and GG! point out something that's been bugging me for a long time. The last game I REALLY played, to the point of knowing it inside and out, was Perfect Dark. About then, it became exactly as you described. I play games to beat them now, not to enjoy them. I finish one game and move on to ...

If they came out with a new console now, I'd have to say that Gamecube is to N64 as Saturn is to Genesis but with better sales. Its games have been ok with a few gems, but not enough to make it live up to the repertoire of past consoles. Oh well. At least it'll have backwards compatibility. Gameboy ...

What country was it made in? And would you be willing to sell it? And if not, could you get around to playing it again sometime and tell me what it's like?

Sounds like BS, but if it's true then the armies of the world are about to get a lot more powerful. Disabling electronics with a beam of light is huge.

Why must Yuji Naka mostly sound a bit stupid in interviews.
Probably because he is.

Anyway, I'd be happy with a 2d Sonic game on a console. Then maybe they could spend more time and money on level design, music, and story and less on graphics.

Good Lord! I always suspected that EA was evil but, to paraphrase Simpsons, this crosses the line between everyday villainy and cartoon super villainy.

I was looking for roms and discovered the detailed info on this site. I made my way to the forums only recently when I read on the front page that there was a link to an old Sonic manga in here. You guys seemed pretty cool, so I decided to hang around.
