My deepest sympathy for you VG Justice and all of WhoopA's friends and family. He was very talented for how young he was, it's so sad how he had to go so soon.

That console wouldn't happen to have any alternative names would it? Or was it only available in Japan? My Encyclopedia doesn't seem to have anything to say about it at all. Tell me more about it.

The Super Cassettevision was also the first console ever to have an RGB output. There was also a version of the console designed for girls, and came with a travel case. That Encyclopedia of Game Machines is a pretty informative book.

I don't think Zidane will ever recover from that incident. 3 World Cups later, and the commentators will still be going on about him using his head.

I've had that thing for YEARS and still haven't reached the end. I could beat Golden Axe, I could get through most of Streets of Rage, I could get through Columns, I could get through the original Sonic (of course), but I'll be damned if I can ever get through Revenge of Shinobi without dying ten-t...

Mad Cat, please, just stop while your ahead. Popcorn thinks that Christian assumptions are false the same way you would think that aethistic assumptions are false. At the end of the day, none of us can give an accepted correct response to big questions concerning matters of creation, evolution, etc....

Not a problem, is this a bad time to ask what the status with that book is?

Edit: Just checked my PMs, cheers for that Omni.

The bible encourages you to confess your sins to God in prayer and ask him to help you to repent. It's a custom that the Christians I know do and we're Protestant. I suppose the only difference there between Protestant and Catholic there is that in Catholic you confess them to a priest.

Anyway, on the confessing part, is that part of the Christian doctrine of confessing sins, or is that a totally different part? Just to clarify because olde english can be a bit disorientating to some. And are the 10 Commandments requirements too, or just guidelines? As long as you believe that Jes...

)When did God say it was okay for you guys to stop keeping kosher? I mean, come on, in the Bible, eating shellfish is as bad as sodomy! Did I miss the part in the New Testiment where God comes down and says, "Hey guys, you can eat pork now. Just don't tell the Jews."? I think it does say it somewhe...

I disagree very strongly with that. Have you read A Brief History of Time? Do you think guys like Stephen Hawking are just talking a load of bollocks? I can't claim to have fully understood the arguments involved in order to properly defend them, but I'm deeply suspicious of anyone who is prepared ...

But I am obviously right. If there is no rational reason to assume something to be true, then it should not be taken to be true. How to you believe that the universe came about? I'm under the impression that you probably believe that it was the big bang, of which there is no rational reason to assu...

Even Sonic Advance is better than Sonic Team porting the classics to GBA one by one with the ability to play as Shadow.

Breast customisation was one of the first snippets of details we received about PSU I believe. Therefore it's fairly relevant seeing as how nothing's been said since, I know I'd like to hear what the status of it is. Go back to not posting please.

"Underground" is in the topic's title because it's a take on the Need for Speed series (a series of crappy racing games made by EA that appeal to chavs due to the emphasis on "modding"). I believe Need For Speed: Underground was a sequel or something, and there may have been a Rivals in that title o...

Vectrex uses vector graphics, though (the only console ever to do so), whereas Galaga uses raster graphics, so there shouldn't really be any visual similarity at all unless you have a fucked up console. Are you thinking of Asteroids, maybe? Yeah Asteroids, that's the one, which is incidentally one ...

My great uncle has an old system called a Vectrex. It's basically a monitor and a console in one, and all it's games look like variations of Galaga (graphics-wise).

Oh, and there's a place near me that has a Neo Geo MVS if that counts.

Shinobi World's nothing special, better than most of the other ones like, but still pretty mediocre. And it's not the last one muppet, that's "Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle" for Mega Drive.

If your really Nova, then I'm guessing your still stuck on Miracle World, correct?

It was announced awhile ago, and I'm not sure what ever became of it... I'm pretty sure it was quietly cancelled, since I think only the remakes of PS1 and 2 are out in Japan and 3 and 4 might be a ways off. Shame though, they looked interesting. Three isn't actually going to be rereleased (probabl...

Phantasy Star has two. One on the Saturn (JAP only) containing the 4 games, appaerantly with some extra features as well (like increased walking speed). And another on the GBA which doesn't have the 4th installment. A Wonderboy one would be pretty nice, especially since we were denied Monster World ...

Contra, Gex, Treasure. There's already a collection of the 3 16 bit Treasure games on PS2, shame they didn't shove in Guardian Heroes and Radiant Silvergun. It would be quite nice to get a collection of Square's (non-Final Fantasy) 16 bit games (Bahamut Lagoon, Seiken Densetsu 2 and 3, Chrono Trigg...

My guess is that Omni was tipped off by the fact that Dr. Kintobor was "Robotnik" before he got evil (it's Robotnik spelled backwards you see) in the Fleetway Sonic The Comic. His transformation (for those who care) was caused by a combination of the Chaos Emeralds (which possesed evil powers there)...
