My take on that: If you can find a save that has all the stages unlocked then it might be worth playing, but otherwise I'd avoid it.Crisis wrote:I hear the PS3/360 version is better, but I refuse to give it the benefit of the doubt.

I had a friend who had a Nomad, 'Holic, but I don't think he ever used it as a portable system. Did you like yours? Did it devour batteries like a Game Gear?

I like raiding when (a) you play with people that don't stand in fire and (b) you don't have to spend your whole life on it.

Actually, that's not the original image either. Apparently Sony copyrighted the thing wherein your PS3 monitors what you're watching on TV, and monitors YOU as you watch through the camera / mic hooked up to the system. Then it send this information to Sony so they can do... something. The whole thi...

A level editor would be kind of cool. Especially if there was a way to share said levels.

Re: Sonic's Future Confirmed: expect more of the same
I think part of the issue here, too, is the length thing. I know someone posted a clip from an interview saying that basically, they added the night stages lengthen the game. If it was day stages alone, it would have only been x hours, and that wasn't enough, so they went back and added the night st...

So they're going for quality suitable for 12-year-olds. No wonder they've been so bad. How hard is it to please a 12-year-old? And how do you evaluate it? "Did he smile or giggle at all? Great, we're done here."

That's pretty awesome, actually. They should sell a version of the game in a rock. :P Okay, maybe not, but that's still a cool promo idea.Edgerock wrote:Video of Nintendo sending the game inside an actual rock as a gift to Kotaku. I was always a fan of the revamped Sonic 2 special stages they had in Sonic 3D Blast for Saturn. I don't really remember much about them now, though, except that they added dash thingers to the pipe.

I think Banana Blitz kinda botched it with the jumping. I really enjoyed 1 & 2, though, provided you played them on GCN. The other systems' analog sticks just aren't sensitive enough for it. Also, for 1 in particular, if you want to get to the Master levels, you need to make sure you have a steady h...
