Re: Archie Sonic Reboot

On the subject of Archie, they did do a comic series (4 comics) on Tails Adventures recently. It was actually quite well done and followed the plot and art style well. Although as usual they felt the need to force their own story in, ending up with an awkward love story between the redneck cyborg ra...

Re: Archie Sonic Reboot

Personally I have always enjoyed Witch Cart and I would like to see her as a main villain in a comic, game, or cartoon series (maybe even a film). Her goals are very interesting. One day out of no where she decides to take over an unimportant island, then announces to no one in particular that she h...

Re: Super Sonic Galaxy

SEGA can no longer compete with the high standards that define current-generation console platformers. Shut er down, boys. And maybe he likes Sonic Adventure 2 because he was more open to new ideas 10 years ago than he is now. It is not like people are going to retroactively go back in time and cons...

Re: Archie Sonic Reboot

Well, arguably Metal Sonic could count as a standalone villain. At least, he did in Fleetway what with overthrowing Robotnick and forming the Brotherhood of Metallix. There's also other characters like Fang and Emerl (his true form), and the Battle Kukku Army those villains they used in the two sto...

Sonic Adventure 2 is one of those shitty games lost in the ocean of shitty games that fulfilled its purpose of being a shitty game.

Re: Archie Sonic Reboot

Something that bothers me about the Archie characters is how they are done in a different style. Archie puts clothes, accessories, and hair on their characters. Actual Sonic characters rarely wear anything unless female and their hair is always part of their normal body to the point where it is not ...

Re: Archie Sonic Reboot

Hey guys, we need a new spinoff QUICK. Maybe a pinball game? Sonic fits into that well!

Yeah, sure! Let us throw in those cartoon characters the kids like. Yeah, alright!

Or you could over think it and try to justify why X character exists in X universe.

Re: Archie Sonic Reboot

From my experience with Archie fans, they do not even play the games. It seems like two rather dislocated fan bases.

I would go on about not knowing what a Julie-su is and comparing it to anal warts, but I am sure we all know. The only good thing they do is the occasional classic cover art.

Re: Fictional D-pads

Maybe I have the memory of a squirrel but I cannot recall scanlines. Whenever I see them in emulators it is always a new (and disgusting) experience! Perhaps I just do not appreciate the nostalgia involved in having to use UHF clamps to hook up a console. I did that a few times, but that does not me...

Aside from being 16-bit, is there much to it apart from being a NES with better graphics?

Re: The DS gazes also into you

I do not think you realise the potential for a Space Harrier 3D comeback. Tetsu Okano and the ugly guy from Platinum Games promised to deliver. The whole camera thing does seem overly-gimmicky, though. I cannot imagine it being interesting after a week of playing with it. But I guess people enjoy ne...

So I just looked up his ED page and he wears diapers, craps himself, posts images and videos of it online, and draws Sonic characters doing that too.

That quote I made just became so much more relevant.
