I agree that the graphics are pretty dismal. The PSP can do much better than this. I also don't like the idea of every level being a race against anything other than a ten-minute time limit. I'd rather have the option of being able to stop and explore the environment.

Most of my GameFans are from 1997-2000. Pat Spaziante did some pretty good stuff for them during that era, but it's not really classic GameFan, and most of his art was printed at such a small size that a scan wouldn't do it any justice anyway.

Still, the name isn’t nearly as bad as the concept behind it. An attempt to bring Nintendo’s quirkiness to "everyone" is, I think, futile. Much as I adore them for their originality, I know that the majority of hobbyist gamers aren’t going to be attracted by this name. Nintendo...

I can see how it can be ridiculed, but I think the significance behind its meaning outweighs that. I like it a lot.

I like the benignly distracted expression on the triceratops, like despite packing heat he just remembered something funny he saw on dino-TV last night.

It's technically only open guests and the press, but the big loophole is that these days you can run a tiny game website no one's ever heard of and be considered a member of the press. And on top of that, it's reportedly pretty easy to just sneak into anyway.

It was the abuse of lens flare that did it for me.

Another good point about the episode was that they were fair enough to make fun of their own show for getting "preachy and up its own ass with messages."

Most notable are a couple of shots showing a hidden route accessible only by normal Mario, as well as a shot of the shell power-up in action.

I think his expression is moderate enough. At the very least, it isn't Shadow-level "Aren't I threatening?" stuff.

It's lazy from a technical standpoint, but that doesn't stop it from being funny. South Park, whose creators hate Family Guy almost as much as they hate being compared to it, is currently in the middle of a two-parter on this subject.
