Re: PoPoLoCrois: Living it up in a game that I can't pronoun

It's an interesting game that takes cues from SRPGs as well as incorporating the standard ATB system. The end result is a rather impressive fighting system with a story that feels like it's going to be good. I'm barely into the game (I think I've played for an hour total), and I'm already addicted....

It's Metal Sonic, X-TREME style! http://home.graffiti.net/icecap:graffiti.net/ms3.jpg You know, we really don’t know if that robot was supposed to be Metal Sonic, if it doesn’t, it a good design for a Saturn game… But I guess Capcom would have sued them for coping Crashman desig...

You have any idea of how many controllers they make until they have the final one? I’m sure someone will punch those dudes and make them do a better one.

Yeah, they only make a really good game every ten years or so...if you have a playtacion or Psone, try "Legend of mana", that game rocks, and is the only square game that I have completed besides Chronno trigger.

Sonic Xtreme looked like trash. That’s because Naka wined about the use of Nights engine, Sega of America has bought the rights to use it, but Naka threatened to leave Sega so…Naka won and they had to remove it. Without the Nights engine, they where back to the beginning and… Mor...

32X - http://mo5.com/MHI/Firmes/Sega/32x.jpg Sega/Mega CD - http://segaclassics.fx-i.co.uk/images/SegaCD2.jpg SPOT THE FUCKING DIFFERENCE. I'd go more indepth...but umm...no So, why the heck Sega did the 32X if they already had the Sega CD? And even worse, if they already had released the Saturn?

I'd be pretty suspicious about that. In interviews, Naka seems to be happy to personally take credit for every single decision in every Sonic Team game ever. My personal favourite was when he was talking about his involvement in developing the flying mechanics for Astro Boy, a game that Sonic Team ...

If instead of bottomless pits, you had spiked pits, would you be happy? No, but there'd be one less thing to bitch about. There's still the camera, the glitches, the repitive and uninspired gameplay, the level design, the excessive talking during levels, the silly story, and the occasional stupid g...

Played some more Shadow. Have some more opinions. Basic gameplay is fun, it's great to run around and shoot stuff. Using weapons doesn't feel tacked on and there's a good variety to use. Controls have been tweaked enough to make playing the game actually possible (see Sonic Heroes) and the only tim...

So why did he let a piece of crap like Knuckles Chaotix happen then? Chaotic was supposed to be a game with Sonic, but they changed it for Knuckles (That why one of the Chaotic is very similar to Sonic in moves and that). Besides the Sega CD was a nightmare when it comes to making games for it, why...

Sonic is VERY popular in France. How else can you explain they financed the Sonic X third season?.

Oshima didn't really do anything except assist with CG cutscenes in Sonic Adventure. HE didn't have anything to do with Sonic 2 or 3/Knuckles. He just designed Sonic the character, directed Sonic Cd, and assisted with some scenes. That's all. Also, SegaSonic, please go away. We know Naka didnâ€â...

Toriyama's DQVIII work is his best in quite a while IMO. Ohshima's a great character designer, but I don't think that's really the weak part of the current crop of games anyhow. Oh, I never meant to call that into question. His character designs are still pretty slick, but assuming he had any autho...

THE Dash raises a point that I had noticed. Has Oshima done anything noteworthy since he left Sonic Team? Well, even Akira Toriyama isn’t making something worthy nowadays. Lets see: he worked on Nights and Sonic, the dude would be a genius if he had a third great project. Al least when he ha...

But was inspired by lost Vikings…like the original idea for Sonic(Picking and throwing things) was inspired by Titus the fox(A ancient videogame).

It would be cool if Oshima returned to Sega and took control of Sonic, but is not like Naka would let that happen. Besides Oshima is a director in another place, so no way.
