Re: Of obscure(ish) digital adventure.

.... but the real fun of it is loading your own CD into it and playing custom courses it automatically generates for you. Having just watched some videos of this in action, the thought comes to me; let alone remake or port it, how is it that no one has expanded or at least taken a cue from this ide...

Of obscure(ish) digital adventure.

Ahh life; tis' a journey of ups and downs, triumph and defeat, brilliance and unfathomable stupidity. The triumph of building a solid piece of furniture, attaining a degree, working a job, traveling abroad or racing your opponent to the victory line, these things are juxtaposed by such humbling mome...

Re: SONIC HYDRO THUNDER

But nothing, nothing could have saved that story. Well that is a hard (nigh impossible) point to argue, though maybe I could venture that had there been a little less of "I am my own destiny" that Shadow's plot thread could have been... decent? Yes, it still might have only ever been your Wal-Mart ...

Re: SONIC HYDRO THUNDER

I've gained a new fondness for 06. I still think the game is awful, but I really like the desert level. The Princesses' power gimmick that lets Sonic walk on quicksand means you can actual explore the level without fear of dying and the stage does a good job of hiding alternative routes which are g...

Re: On the topic of animated fat men...

No love for courage the cowardly dog? This is a travesty! I do rather like adventure time, funny because I find 13 year old humor (fart jokes and the like) obnoxious, but after watching a few episodes I realized that it can be as bleak and disturbing as you would like it to be (the recent christmas ...

Re: Barney! My Pebbles!

From the redneck of the north, deer meat advice! If you hunted the bugger down, you MUST hang it for at least 5 days, preferably if the conditions are right shoot for 7-10. Just like beef it needs to be aged, not doing so will result in overly gamey and very tough meat. If you were given the meat, o...

Re: Sandwich porn

Sadly due to a salt restricted diet, my sandwich consumption is severely limited as lunch meat (and everything else) is very high in salt when you are on a 2000 mg a day restriction, that being said when I do damn the torpedoes I love a good Reuben, and I have an addiction to pickled banana and or j...

But it would be such a pain to put in all the detail required to make the pine cones look good, as of course the focus of the picture would then be the 'cones.

That is a manly passtime. Even more so because you can butcher them with your bare hands and then roast them for dinner whenever you want to. ....I also work full time as a computer engineer and am getting married next month..... Two pages late, but.... CONGRATULATIONS! Best wishes to both of you!

I currently work as a window cleaner, sometimes pressure washing, janitorial, and am still trying to make money off the medium size collection of gamebirds I raise. I continue to work on my drawing skills, am attempting to learn the violin, learning how to work on my car, learning what I can about f...

Agreed, plus they had a freaking ROYAL LION MEGA BOT!! I have such fond memories of that show, it helped shape who I am today.

Re: All-new 2D Sonic rolling out in 2010

Sadly, I am so jaded that I feel almost nothing, any hope I might have worked up for this game died at the same moment it tried to live. I could hope for something cool, like Shadow or Metal sonic being a megaman 9 Proto-man equivalent, (assuming that the game itself is actually good) for special st...

Well then, it was fun you guys (and girls), may your lives be successful and happy.

I just wish they would see that companies like pixar or nintendo get by just fine and make money off of all ages by making technically sound and fun products that appeal to ALL ages.

Stupid edit time limit, I meant to add that otherwise the 'pedia looks great and exudes professionalism, so now if I ever have to explain 18 years worth of Sonic history to someone I have a reference to go by.

Re: 404 Hill Zone

The Maria sonicopedia entry has a glaring error, Maria's last words were "Sayonara, Shadow the hedgehog". I realize that ShTH replaced "sayonara" with "Adios" but why would you choose ShTH to be your guide in this matter and not the better game?

I have these around my house: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_hornet , but unlike their Asian cousins they seem pretty docile.

I once stepped on a bald face hornet nest and was swarmed and stung viciously, it was exciting.

Re: Samus in Ninja Gaiden

I miss the times when Samus would hardly ever be seen without her armor on. It made her seem less human and less feminine than she does these days, which was cool because you still knew that she was in fact human and that she was in fact female, only you couldn't easily tell. I always found that ve...
