I'm starting to think Sega has resorted to referencing fanfiction written between 1998 and 2003 for game titles.

The problem with all the Sonic cartoons (save for the OVA, which was off in its own world) was that they all revolved around some corny gimmick. From the ~*aLtErNaTe DiMeNsIoN*~ in Sonic X to whatever the hell Sonic Underground was trying to portray, they all just take the Sonic brand and slap it on...

The best is how every other item in the piece pales in comparison to the toilet, as far as proportion, detail, and perspective go.

Beyond awesome. Best Sonic toys yet. It's good to see that the signature style hasn't been forgotten. Hopefully it makes the transition into other media... games, TV, etc.

What's so bad about the new screenshots? I love what I'm seeing here. The 3-D models are so detailed that they seriously look hand-drawn in a few of those pictures. I doubt Sonic could truly die. He's just such a marketable character. The franchise would probably just be passed on to somebody more capable (aka less prone to sucking).
