I'm well aware that most members on this board are certainly not the kind of Sonic fans that appreciate the Sonic fan community in general and the various flash movies and other tributes to the games that have been made over the years. But let's remember now that Metal Sonic is not the original evil Sonic-clone either. Mecha Sonic came first, and he's ben COMPLETELY scrapped. So Metal should be thankfull he is still allowed to make aperances at all, even if it's not very often.

"Robotnik" was also listed as his real name in his "profile-card" (or whatever they call it) in Sonic X.

I was just wondering... I know that Eggman's American/European surname "Robotnik" is now official in Japan to, but has his firstname "Ivo" ever ben mentioned in anything official from SEGA of Japan? Lika a game manual or a strategy guide or something? Or is that name still only used here in the west?
