Re: More Mario & Sonic at the Olympics?

I like how Donkey Kong's speed attribute is greater than Sonic's. That's got to put a stick in many a fan-boy's craw.

Re: Ed Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show - Eddy's Brother at last...

And then they end it all by making the characters respect the Eds, which would probably have been an interesting way to give the series some closure, had it not been so poorly executed. Eddy's brother is smacked by a door. Everyone suddenly loves the Eds despite chasing them for revenge throughout ...

Re: Hypothetical Sonic Adventure Remake

Off the top of my head, Big could waddle through the turent section of Sky Deck in his efforts to escape the Egg Carrier. This is the worst idea ever. Big must fight three bosses. Under water. While carrying rocks. Big has to fish. (Am I doing it right?) Through a series of QTE. Failing which will ...

Re: Conjoined at the abdomen

Now, now, have you seen it guarding something withing your pantry? Perhaps a small, barely visible vortex of energy? If so, you have what we entomologists call the Cerberus Moth ( Cautorus Hades ). What it's guarding is the portal to Bug Hell, located within your pantry. Worry not as a steady sacrif...

Re: Samus in Ninja Gaiden

Now that I took time to compose myself, the way I see it, Prime was Metroid from a first-person perspective, whereas this is Metroid as a brawler. Which brings up a problem: combat. Barring boss battles, enemies were merely speed bumps for Samus--they only serve to make you move more deliberately. O...

Re: Samus in Ninja Gaiden

And to reiterate: Upgrade needed to simply haul her ass over a ledge. This excludes Fusion 'cause of metroid DNA shit. And Link needed a magic bracelet to pick up a bomb the size of a bowling ball in Ocarina of Time. I guess that means that he can't lift anything over 16 pounds or he dies. And Mari...

Re: Samus in Ninja Gaiden

You need to be a polite sniper when fighting space pirates and not use your alien hybrid super strength and super strong power suit to actually TOUCH the enemies. That would be downright impolite! Here innate super strength which required an additional power-up to enable her to haul her hefty 200-p...

Right, 'cause Samus never shot shit up in her seminal games. She took her arm cannon and bludgeoned Kraid's testicles into a fine dust.

Re: Samus in Ninja Gaiden

I'm skipping this one with extreme prejudice. Way to have a baw fest over unimportant crap. Oh noes, males in Zelda. And huge tits, really? Please. Turning the Metroid into a brawler is fucking stupid. You get to preemptively dismiss games, why shouldn't I? When did I say I had a problem with males...

Re: Samus in Ninja Gaiden

Before I even realized it was Samus (it was only until Malkovich said "any objections, lady?"(Why no Russian accent?)), my first thought when I saw her was, "damn, those are some huge tits". So yeah, in my opinion, they dwarf even Brawl's. Also Anonymous dead guy from Super Metroid is some ultra-bla...

Re: Sega announces Sonic & SEGA All-Star Racing

I think making a character the bestest ____ really hurts its versatility. I do, however, remember reading somewhere that Sonic hates racing due to it being an empty gesture. Maybe limiting his innate ability is the only way to logically put him in a race; it's no longer an empty gesture but a genuin...

Someone should draw a comic panel in which this exchange happens between a vulture (anthropomorphic of course) and, I dunno, an exasperated stork.

Re: Doc Louis and pink jogging suit Little Mac... in 3D.

I know redundancy is already prevalent in Smash Bros.--doesn't mean I accept it. Peach and Zelda are the most egregious examples. Though there are plenty of fat jokes surrounding Bowser in his RPG outings--at least once in every game, IIC--so I'm taking them at face value. EDIT: COSMETIC stand-point...

As an antagonist K. Rool gets the job done, but as a playable character he's just a malformed Bowser.

Re: Wahoo Anew

Not 16-bit good; more like last-gen good. Granted last gen gave us gems like Wario World's, but not quite that level either. Mostly it's things like back story and level synopsis--things that fell wayside to make room for tri-lingual booklets(consequently the thing is THICK). It's all-things-conside...
