I'll hazzard a guess that you are about 14 and your first game was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, right?

I read that somewhere too, but I suppose they just couldn't resist the big money.

Re: Sonic Unleashed?

Until I see weresonic with some terrible gameplay mechanic, that you're forced to play through on multiple occasions even if you don't want to, I think as a character it's a fairly good compromise within the fanbase. There are many fans who, for whatever reason despise the character of Shadow, and y...

It strikes me as kind of funny that a company with a solid interest an in creating games for Western audiences, still insists that some of its games are handled by teams with largely Japanese developers. Why not devolve responsibility for main Sonic games to some of the newly acquired western studio...

Actual programming time began last November I believe, although overall development time is another story.

The controls in that video do look broken, but it could be any number of factors to be honest. I reckon he's standing too close to the sensor bar, as the jerky motion of the pointer on screen always occurs when you do that. Or maybe the batteries are running out? Heck, it's a busy show . Anywa...

Hmm, I'm not too keen on the voice. When American voice actors try to use the British accent it always hurts my ears, it's never quite "right" and sounds forced and exaggerated for the most part.

The trailer's been released, and you'll find it here: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/player.php?mode=article&id=1005 There's also some screens here: http://uk.media.ds.ign.com/media/900/900363/imgs_1.html The trailer has taken me by surprise actually. I've kind of had my doubts about this game...

Maybe comparing it to Toy Kingdom wasn't the best way to describe all of it. It just doesn't seem Sonic-y to me. There are too many bold solid colours, things seem bland and cartoonish, ect. If this was a Kirby game it'd be fine, but it's just not the same style Sonic games usually have. This serio...

The official site is up. I like first theme, but the rest is generic crap really. Also the ice level looks fairly dull and lifeless in the shots they've put up, though I'll reserve judgement until we see some videos.

http://segadirect.jp/Catalog/CustomPages/CustomDetail2.aspx?File=sonicrushad_nds.htm Courtesy of a Gamefaqs poster, the rest of the level names are all confirmed here. Some of these levels sounds fairly interesting I must admit. It's been noted however that none of the tracks have the funky names of...

Well I just rewatched these videos again, and overall it's more positive impressions for me now. The gameplay does seem fairly sparse and bitty, particularly the distribution of loops amongst other things, but this is obviously a pretty early build of the game, not least because of the lack of music...

It looks about on par with Shadow the Hedgehog. I mean technically, rather than stylistically, of course. It's pretty sad, considering how fantastic Secret Rings looked. I guess Sonic Team USA really isn't strong in this department. I wonder if they're making the game in Renderware. I don't know, i...

While this is true, I don't get why both Sega of America and Sega Europe would have left news of any additional characters out of their press releases. I mean heck they even mentioned Tails in both, so if they had other characters to reveal they'd have divulged surely? Also, everything Segaholic2 ju...

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=162369 This is fairly interesting. The original composer is back on board doing the music for Journey of Dreams according to Iizuka. Haha Esrever that picture comparison. I would say however, that this game is obviously nowhere near finished, and over the time between now and Autumn extra detail is likely to be added. These are also only a few snapshots, and may or may not be an accurate reflection of the rest of the level and/or...
