So...New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the 3DS. I didn't care at all for the original, but the Wii version was pretty good, and this one has the return of (proper) Raccoon Mario. No other details for now. It drops in August worldwide.

I love Castle of Illusion and still own the Genesis cart of that game to this very day. I also own the original Magical Quest on SNES (but not the sequels). Love them both, and this game looks like a mashup of both (the jumping mechanics and style of Mickey, and the little helmet enemies kind of rem...

That Fire emblem 3DS looks really cool. I've been excited about the new Fire Emblem for a while now, especially after two DS games that were basically remakes of 15+ year old Fire Emblem games. Don't know how I feel about turning off permanent deaths, though; it feels as weird to me as a Sonic game ...

I almost never played Sonic 2/3 with just Sonic. Dunno what the rest of you did, but I always had Sonic and Tails together.

That said, Tails not being a standalone character really sucks, but it isn't for me a deal breaker. Yet.

I'd normally be a fan of placid color schemes like these, but these realistic locales are drab enough already without the colors following suit. Lost Labyrinth was the only level in Sonic 4 Episode 1 that looked remotely good. Splash Hill was lame, Casino Street was dull, and Mad Gear has a hideous color design all-around. Also loved all 4 Zones had so much going on in the background (and the foreground at times!) you can barely tell at time...

I hate the physics engine in Super Meat Boy. Way too slippery.

I'm not a big fan of the way Classic Sonic controls in Generations, but it's kind of a moot point with the Spin Dash. If he didn't have it, I would be more inclined to agree with FlashTHD.

Yeah, the requirements are a lot lower (typically 20 to 30 rings), plus your ring count isn't reduced to 0 in Knuckles in Sonic 2 after you leave the Special Stage.

My sister once threw the Mario Kart 64 cartridge across the room during an argument I had with her, partially opening it. It still works, though.

I don't suppose that putting the Vita offline stops friend requests? Is that even an option?

Are there actually people who still refuse to admit that Sonic 4.1 was a soulless, derivative, boring piece of shit that was merely functional at best? I wouldn't even call it functional. Game played, looked, and sounded like ass. (And I'd rather play Sonic Heroes' Special Stages over Sonic 4's. So...

Sega games typically have great music, but I think Konami and Capcom also have excellent soundtracks in their games, too. And Nintendo has some classic tunes.
