Summing up, even with the whole low-framerate-for-Sonic-Boom thing, Gems still has the best intros. Someone's forgetting Sonic Mega Collection also had the opening and ending videos for Sonic CD. The ending video runs at the original intended framerate. Though they still use the US songs, but that'...

Whoops! Don't know how I missed that.

On the subject of "Goddamnit, Konami", I was only made recently aware that an english translation patch for Policenauts was in progress. If ever there was a property that should be ported to a handheld system...

Speaking of DS adventure games, has anyone played Touch Detective ? I've read a number of reviews claiming that the gameplay is lackluster and that the characters are dull. Something about it still interests me... it might be the graphical style, it might be the character design, it might be the ov...

Funny you should mention that. I've been playing a great deal of my old PS1 games on my PSP recently due to hacked firmware. Currently playing through Persona, and quite enjoying the experience of doing it whilst at work.

Namco is a company which deserves no respect really. They systematically destroy good franchises, both of their own and others companies (granted, Rare did get a heads start on Star Fox). Rare's been around far longer than Dinosaur Planet. Oh wait, that's not what you meant. Hm. Yeah, you're...

And given this announcement, it's not like you'd be able to play online, even if it could. Unless it's possible to set up unofficial servers... doubt it, though. http://www.consolevision.com/members/schtserv/ Granted, that's probably the only one out there. Also, it's prone to rampant hacking.

He was all excited about dishing out an old school game, but then Iizuka comes in and forces another bad gameplay mechanic on him. Long live Emperor Iizuka! Everything the man touches withers and dies. The "gimmick" of competitive racing isn't nearly as endearing as having a traditional platformer ...

I've determined that I hate digitally painted animation. It's ruined something critical. I think in another 20 or 30 years animation won't even be a human art at all: companies will deposit a collection of globes imprinted with an assortment of anime cliches and plotlines into a large aquarium hous...
