Re: Games Played in 2005

Ico... I know that someone will probably quote me and reply "douched" or "banned", but I don't get Ico, especially after hearing all the praise it got. I mean, yeah, it's got nice aesthetics and attention to detail... but, well, that's all I get. Is there some kind of mindset I'm supp...

And it also allows you to overlay other information. You can see where all the nearby ice cream stores and pizza places are.

Well I found getting on Knuckles' route as Super Sonic in Marble Garden Zone to be lots of fun.

This is just a pet peeve of mine, but I'd really really have liked it if they removed continues and drastically changed extra lives in Sonic 3 (& Knux). With saving, continues are completely pointless. It'd also be nice if the Knuckles only paths were accessable with Sonic or Tails. Something like w...

Sonic Heroes was ruined by bad level design, not bad game mechanics. And I have yet to play Shadow, but it looks like it has the same craptacular level design. Both of those games *would* have been fun, if the level designers were any good.

Kicking someone in the knee transfers emotions. Are you saying that it would be impossible for anyone, anywhere to consider getting kicked in the knee to be art? Assuming that the kicker intended for it to be art, what is the getting kicked in the knee missing? I'm dead serious, by the way. I think...

I'd listen to the message, Cara, but it's all wrong. Do you know how many bottomless pits there are in Sonic 3? About FIVE. IN THE WHOLE GAME. And they don't appear until ICE CAP ZONE.

Compare that with the recent Sonics. Even Sonic Adventure 1 had bottomless pits in the first stage.

Yes, they certainly chose only the best Xbox games to focus their backward compatibility efforts on.

I'm with Tsui. Besides, I'm disappointed that Treasure has decided to start making sequels and I'd like to show that. Treasure used to know how to make new games that were even more awesome then a sequel could ever be.

It's a sequel to Sonic Heroes. There's a few fixes, but not enough. I still see bottomless pits in every level except the first. On the positive side, most levels had walls around the platform, so it was less likely that you'd fall in. I still see every enemy taking 5 - 10 attacks to kill, unless yo...
