Re: More Mario & Sonic at the Olympics?

Uh, I don't think anyone here's seriously trolling by any means, and I don't think we're hard on new members unless their posts lead us to question their sanity, and even then it's not like we go all out on some sort of assault on them or anything. And I think most of us still care about the franchi...

Re: So I'm reading Scott Pilgrim

Man, I would've thought this series would have gotten a more favorable response here. I think some of you guys are taking the wrong things a bit to seriously. I mean, it's basically a story about some guy trying to get the girl and how he changes along the way, told in an exaggerated manner with a c...

Re: Concept Artwork For "Epic Mickey" from Warren Spector

Man, the more I hear about this game the more excited I get. Hopefully since it's Wii exclusive they'll be able to focus a bit more on the graphics like most first party Nintendo games.

They're not, they actually just reused the costumes for the villains. Sort of a nod to it I guess.

Re: The Power is On

I used to have a bunch of the toys in a box somewhere, I wonder if it's still around in my house. I pretty much stopped watching the show after Lost Galaxy, which was probably already waaaaay after I should've known better. Although I did watch the Forever Red episode from a little while back, which...

Re: no longer for kids

Definitely rode bikes everywhere, riding around the entire island was a little over eight miles and was very scenic and pretty. The horse poo didn't really smell, but there was a ton of it you had to dodge. I actually saw a man sweeping up some of the poo, I can only imagine how horrible a job that ...

Re: All-new 2D Sonic rolling out in 2010

What is wrong with a retail 2D game? There are already others out. Also anyone born after the 80s is not allowed to suggest anything. I didn't say there was anything inherently wrong with a 2D retail game, just that I think something like this they'd release online. Tokyo Game Show's coming up soon...

Re: All-new 2D Sonic rolling out in 2010

I assume this is a retail 59.99 game. Really? The only 2D Sonic games after S&K have been for handhelds, so I'd assume they're jumping on the XBLA/PSN bandwagon of classic game remakes and reboots, which hopefully means they could actually spend more time polishing the gameplay instead of the graph...

Re: All-new 2D Sonic rolling out in 2010

Well, the recent 2-D Sonics have been pretty decent, with Rush and Rush Adventure having been pretty good in my eyes, so this is better news for me then say, Unleashed 2 or another Storybook entry, but.....knowing Sega, they probably made that trailer last week and started work on the game like, tod...

The fact Megane and company aren't in it is a bit disheartening, but not to surprising considering what little role they had in the manga.

What I want to know is how he got Parodius out of a BG&E topic. I mean, most of his comments tend to kind-of-sort-of pertain to the topic at hand.

This.....is more bizarre and weird an idea then Kingdom Hearts' initial announcement. Here's hoping this actually makes it past concept art.

I know he's not exactly well liked, but I think Hush might be a villain that could sort of work in the "nolanverse" if they did him right.

Of course 3D sucks, my 2D waifu will never betray me and always stay pure! You have to kind of wonder what it is about Japanese culture that makes this sort of thing more prevalent there. Inanimate "wifes" are something seen all over the world , yet it seems like articles about it always focus on th...

Re: Sonic Adventure 2: Battle Joyride Studios figurine on eBay..

I used to have these Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails toys that came in Sonic Adventure boxes that I got when I was about 10, but I can't find them anywhere on ebay. They were really nice quality and well put together but.....they all broke so easily. And I was never rough with my toys or anything. A frie...

Re: Valkyria Chronicles sequel announced...

The change in art style and system wouldn't bother me so much if it weren't for the fact that this game is being released this fall. The first game apparently didn't do so hot in Japan either, so my guess is they're trying to bank on this while the anime is still fresh in everyone's mind.

It's funny, before I came here I was reading about an episode from the new Ninja Turtles show that was shelved because it dealt with conjoined twins who were separated by a back-alley surgeon or something. So to come here and see the name of this thread gave me a hearty chuckle.

Off the top of my head, Big could waddle through the turent section of Sky Deck in his efforts to escape the Egg Carrier. This is the worst idea ever. Big must fight three bosses. Under water. While carrying rocks. Big has to fish. (Am I doing it right?) Through a series of QTE. Failing which will ...
