Have you checked your Win.ini file to see if there are any network viruses being executed from the mci extensions, Gibbon? I've hear it’s a fairly simple way to check; you just have to look for a line resembling "run= C:\Windows\(filename).exe" or something like that. If you have tried it alo...

I think the cons of being partially to completely unable to perform meaningful communication with other human beings overrides any possible advantages autism might have, and I'm saying that through personal experience.

I've heard that when Sonic X first came out, it was practically 4Kids' highest rating show. However I don't know about its popularity now, as I can't find much about its current ratings. But realistically, it’s only logical to think that if second season is in production, then there must of b...

I have to agree with the general opinion of it having a far greater audience in the west. I mean, for its target audience the only prerequisite it needs for it to have a fanbase is a recognisable character and for it to be "xtreme". Sonic fits both.

Were there even Otaku fanboys back in 1993? On topic, I still think the cleverest addition to Sonic CD was the time travelling, where it was possible to play 4 different variation of the same level. If the levels were up to Sonic 2/3 standards, it would truly be as God-like as some fans claim it to ...

I don't remember hearing anything about that ApeXtreme, though... who's behind it? It's made by some company called Apex Digital which, as far as I can tell, also create other electrical appliances such as DVD players, televisions, cameras and home theatre systems. I also found a preview of it here...

I have heard of this thing, but never used it. The only thing I know for certain is that Tiger Telematics is one and the same to Tiger Electronics. Out of interest Gibbon, have you heard of the Phantom and ApeXtreme? Supposedly they were shown at E3 like last year or the year before, and both are ob...

Sammy has stated that from the merger, Sega will be more focused on the arcade industry that makes them profitable than the home console business that has caused them to put the red ink on the ledger. Now granted, even though Sonic Team/Sega Studios USA is arguably the most profitable of Sega's deve...

I shouldn't make general statements. I just didn't like the feel of Frog Forest - Mystic Mansion. They just felt tedious to me. As for Casino Park and BINGO Highway, they both would have passed if those pinball boards were easier to control. I must go off-topic. There's something we havn't debated....

There are a collection of hacks that allow for certain characters to be exchanged on the PC version. In the unlikely event you actually have it, they can be found here . I reckon somebody should hack the game so that there would be a Team SegaSonic, where the Tails model is modified to look like Ray...

...and cheap pit-fall filled level design. I don't say, that Sonic Heroes had the best level design. I myself allways wished a 3D Sonic game with Sonic's classical level design. But all the same, I have a lot of fun with Sonic Heroes. I think the closest Sega have come to classical level designs in...

Is the US soundtrack really that much worse than the Japanese/European one, so much so that it hurts the core game? I've heard (and always though) that they were both good.

I wonder if the Incredible Popeman will use thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch as his ultimate weapon. Preferably against the author who though this would be a good, inoffensive way to take the many millions of minds off the Pope's recent passing away.

The patch is at the Sonic Cult website. If you still care, here is a direct link to it.

Loonitics is closer to the current, dark, angular, American action cartoon style not anime. I personally think that the Loonatics cartoon has some vague traces of anime, particularly with the very stylised drawings, but you are very correct in saying it more resembles the current “extremeââ‚...

At least the animation is above average, and Mojo still looks cool. But I still can't get over the fact that Professor Plutonium looks old enough to be dating the PPG's, not being a father to them.

I have to agree with Popcorn. I honestly still don't understand why is it necessary for Mokoto to cloak in such a revealing outfit, because I recall that ghost-hacked guy shooting AP bullets at the van to have therm-optics as well, and it wasn't necessary for him to wear such a revealing outfit. And...

I think it's that scene when she tries to rip open the top of that tank at the end of the movie that turns me off. She looks too realistic in the movie, compared to the Stand Alone Complex series and manga.

I think it's safe to assume that the Wachowski brothers... brother and sister I should say ... got a fair amount of influence from Ghost in the Shell for their Matrix movies, but in Matrix, the philosophy outside of the original was fairly facetious and just there to make the movie seem more intelli...
