Re: Sonic Generations

Does that mean they're taking out those silly "side under this narrow gap or you stop dead" obstacles in the modern segments? That would be good.

Also I really wish they'd fix the spin-dash and the tubes in Green Hill.

It's funny you say that Zeta, Silver's association with Blaze makes me like him less.

Video's gone. Sadface. Any mirrors? They're continuing to try to give me an aneurysm with their historically inaccurate sound effects. Couldn't they have used an actual 1-up jingle for 1-ups instead of the Chaos Emerald jingle in at least the classic levels? The clouds in Sky Sanctuary also make co...

Re: Urkel to reprise the voice of Sonic in upcoming fan film

Even though this isn't at all in the direction I like Sonic to go, I can't help but be a bit more amused and charmed with each new bit of promotional material they release. It may end up corny and terrible but by god it's what they want to do and by god they're going for it.

Wow, I had no idea so many people here were in the creative industry. I knew G. Silver did sick drawings and even occasional 3D artwork but not anybody else.

I'm a freelance animator. Lately I've been doing alot of thinking about the specific direction I want my career to take, though.

Can somebody give these people a reality check please? It's like they're missing the point of this whole exercise.

Re: Sonic Generations

Yeah, I'm heavily bugged by the fact that they just seem to have forgotten what colour Sky Sanctuary was. It looks nice (the parrots we can see at the signpost are a nice touch), but it doesn't look how it should to me. The Modern version of the music sounds amazing though! It seems to really work w...

As a footnote to that lovely little tale, "kyun" is onomatapoeia for a heart palpitation, as induced by cuteness.

You can max out the ring counter at 999, actually. At least in Act 1. I think I even have a video of myself doing it sitting around somewhere.

I didn't know them either because I own neither, in fact I don't think I've ever played them at all. There were a whole bunch I just didn't know.

I actually enjoy Lucky Star. I feel like there's something weird about this show that appeals to people who wouldn't usually enjoy such things. I've watched and enjoyed many similar anime series but thought Lucky Star was garbage, yet I have a friend who loved it despite being completely unwilling ...

This is becoming a little tangential, but is anybody else really bugged by the way that the "proper" (i.e. high quality) version of the ending, because it runs faster, actually ends up not fitting the length of the music (either one) at all? Or am I the only person here autistic enough to sincerely ...

Seems to just be an updated version with a bit of extra content from what I can gather online. Is this the case?

Lately I've been playing Touhou 6: Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. Yesterday I finally managed to finally 1cc it on Normal (as Marisa). Now I'm bashing my head against the wall trying to also do it as Reimu, as well as make progress in the Extra Stage and start working at the Hard difficulty. It's madd...
