I will see it because I will be able to for free, but the trailer didn't look that exciting. The same goes for Superman Returns for that matter.

Hate to be technical but based on that picture it does look like they "walk on four legs." The Bible, supposedly, was written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit, but they were still people. But most importantly it was written for people. If people at that time only recognized those particular insect...

Seriously, where's the Extreme Teen Introduction to Thermodynamics?
It isn't necessary since the subject matter is so simple anyway. Then again I always found hard math and science to be easier to digest then literary analysis.

"could have happened" and "has some evidence to support it" are understatements when used to describe a scientific theory.

In defense of the moral argument: If a universal (not universally accepted, because truth doesn't have to be universally accepted) morality exists then it implies that there is an intention behind the universe. The intention would reasonable have to come from a personal being and that would be God. ...

A few months ago I adopted a nihilistic world view for purpose of debate only. I never used this world view in practice, but still, it lead to an increased lack of faith in the religion I had been brought up with (Christianity). Since then I have seen many good arguments for theism in general and Ch...

Popcorn it doesn't seem to me that you so much respect everyone's right to believe what they want as you tolerate it. Respect does not qualify, in my eyes at least, of slamming other people's worldviews when you can't substantiate your own. There is a reason that there are both theists and atheists:...

I was going to ask the same thing. I enjoyed the first one up until the level where you have to defend the fox spirit who makes no effort to actually avoid the enemy demons. I never could beat the level so I gave up on it. The upgradeable weapons and magic was cool though. I remember using some craz...

An overzealous opinion begets an overzealous response, I suppose. They're being a little too critical, yes, but so are you, I think. Just let'em be. There's a hundred of these sites out there and it'd be great if people didn't actively roam the internet ready to go, "HAHA, STUPID CHRISTIANS". It is...

Final Rush was pretty easy, and there was a large area where you could "land" on a rail even though you technically missed and you should have fallen into oblivion. I wouldn't use that as an example of a "cheap" challenge.

Because it's a direct quote from interviews. As it also was with Heroes, which is why I asked the question in the first place. I figured once an entity proved to be historically dishonest that their credibility might be suspect in the future as well. Frieza: Yeah I can see what people used as suppo...

When was this game every said to be a remake or a new beginning? Or is that just what every one thought when it was called simply "Sonic the Hedgehog?" As for "back to the roots," everyone and their cat was screaming that about Sonic Heroes, so I never really bought into it for this game anyway. I w...

I meant the character. Obviously the box is fake. That image (without all the mocked-up boxart garbage) has been floating around for a day or two now. It's already been posted and heavily discussed on this very forum. So it has. That's what I get for staying offline for two days. All I bothered doi...

Found this on 4chan, could be a shop or could be our mysterious new hedgehog character. No source was given.

I think this game definitely has the potential to kill any remaining interest I have in the series. There hasn't been a real Sonic game since his 10th anniversery and it looks like they are on the verge of blowing it again.

Not true. Some people have to have everything just right. If the name is wrong, that ruins the whole thing. If the form is wrong, that ruins the whole thing. If the color is wrong, that ruins the whole thing. So a bad name could ruin the entire image, and thus the name would be the reason why they w...

How would maxium utility be achieved though if you buy a video game console to play video games, and you decide not to buy a game console because it has a dumb name. I could maybe understand fanboyism, because you buy your console to play Nintendo games, and to not give Sony money, or something lik...

No. The only conditional is related to utility gained versus utility lossed in purchasing the product. It has nothing to do whatsoever with the quality of the person, or more accurately the qualities attributed to the person by other observers (qualities which may or may not be true, but don't neces...
