Huh? I thought the complaints were about the controls being too slippery? Other than that, this sounds like the exact same build from E3.The controls are still a little stiff

No way i'm going into space in my lifetime, so whatever re-arranging of the solar system they see fit to make is cool with me. If it's giving the people who make these decisions headaches over what's a planet and what isn't, may as well blow it off. At best, Pluto was more a novelty to me with its' ...

hey! so how's about that gameplay?? Tightened at all? No, but given that the framerate's apparently shot up a bit, it sounds like they've been tightening the graphics Good to see Sonic team have their priorities right as usual. I have a feeling they've just given up on ever nailing perfect 3d Sonic...

Sonic is suffering from Mickey Mouse syndrome. When Mickey debuted, he was a kind of mischevious character who was always getting into trouble. But as the character gained popularity and became a sort of corporate symbol, they had to cut his balls off. After all, Mickey Mouse was now the face of Di...

could you perhaps try not being a complete moron and not just making shit up in future? Its good that youre an 'insider', but seriously making retarded bollocks up is just immature and often the reason why people such as yourself are laughed at frequently. My opinion of this game is low enough alre...

Also, for some reason, they've decided to include a sort of dating sim. You control Elisa like a normal character. However, depending on how you play through the levels, you'll meet different characters. You then get these training sessions where you can learn one the characters ablities. Apparentl...

And the linear level design? It's clearly too much of a task for them to handle. I wouldn't be surprised if the main reason the past titles went with this motif was because an open environment wasn't capable on the hardware of the time. And even though it's more than possible now, they don't seem t...

I've just had a disturbing epiphany. It's much more evident to me now that the series is plagued by more than one or two problems; even if they get the controls/level design/general gameplay down pat, there's so much more missing from the games, most of which is essential to complete the experience...

The argument that Sonic is better silent sucks. He's had speaking roles all the way back to early 1993, and the creators designed him with some idea of a voice in mind with those quotes on the box art and the way the stories were written. I think the only reason he didn't have voice clips in the Gen...

Keji Inafune has no desire to revisit the Classic series, the X series seems to have finished its' run as well despite leaving Axl's future up in the air, and Zero's series came to a tidy end. Actually, with the recent release of the first series initial game's remakes, there's a chance they'll eve...

It's a spin off of a SPIN OFF. Surely you don't support this? As far as I'm concerned there are only two Mega Man spinoff franchises: X and Legends. I'd stab forks into my viens before playing Battle Network or Zero. Correction: it's a spinoff of a spinoff ( Zero ) of a spinoff ( X ) of the origina...

If I had to venture a guess, maybe because accessing a menu that lets you visit any part of the game you want out of its intended sequence is supposed to be hard? They're supposed to be development tools, but Naka said once that they left the codes in the game on purpose so people could find them a...

No shit; Tips & Tricks said that for the GameCube version of Mega Collection, it took them over 50 tries to get it to work using the D-Pad. Those folks are pretty hardcore at what they do, which makes it even more staggering. But "to the beat of the drums"? I thought all that mattered was pulling it...

-- "Smack into one of these and 10 Rings are subtracted from your total. (If Tails gets smacked, you only lose 1.) " - What? Untrue. Where did you get that? That's a reference to the Special Stages in Sonic 2. If you're playing a Sonic & Tails game, Tails indeed loses a Ring if he hits the spikes i...

More than that. -- "Continues are no longer earned from Special Stages, but can be acquired by racking up a score of 10,000." - Doesn't clarify what. The game very generously gives you a continue if your bonuses at the end of each act total at or more than 10,000 points. (You're guaranteed to get it...

The "other" reason Naka joined STI?
The Sonic 2 page which, I might add, still contains a number of little errors that have been pointed out before states Naka joined STI by invite of Mark Cerny, but doesn't go into it any further. Turns out he may have had another motive: He wanted to be closer to the audience that appreciated his wo...
