Re: Amazing Spider-Man Teaser Trailer
There is always a place for it in Spider-Man! It's one of his defining characteristics. Pssh, humor is just so 90s. Which begs the question, when there are about 2,000 other heroes in Marvel's pantheon, why go with Spiderman if you're not going to play him straight? Again? Websneezing sounds pretty...

Re: Guess the Sonic Generations Stages
Tidal Tempest Present is the only track from the US soundtrack that even comes close to matching its JP counterpart for me, though I've got a soft spot for WWP because it reminds me of those shows from the 90s no one ever watched, like Popular Mechanics and those DIY construction deals. As for this,...

Re: What are you playing today?
Yes. I've been doing multiplayer with friends through Hamachi all day and it's probably the most fun I've ever had over the internet. If not for the single player, grab it anyway and play with us.

Re: What are you playing today?
Bionic Commando (2009) is the most fun I've had with a contemporary game in a long while, I don't know why it got the flack it did. The radiation bullshit is rather taxing before you begin to appreciate the warning signs (you only get 3 seconds to react, momentum and level progress be damned) and it...

Re: Guess the Sonic Generations Stages
I guess I'd have preferred a higher balance of classic stages, but to be honest... what I probably REALLY would have preferred is a game with new stages that were as diverse and creative as the original stages were in their time. I've never been one of those people dying to see the entirety of Soni...

Re: Return of the Heroic Amputee in 2D
Origins was the highlight of the entire show. Like, it upstaged the Wii U and everything, the conference room was practically empty because people were lining up to play Origins. Game looks gorgeous, no clue what you guys are on about.

Re: Sonic Generations
...Because when the character which is supposed to be you speaks of its own accord it breaks all fucking immersion? It's funny how immersion in games is only ever a factor when silent protagonists are being discussed, as if playing a role is the only way to immerse oneself. Films and books tend to ...

Re: A Dream
A few years ago, I had this recurring dream where I couldn't run, no matter how hard I tried. I always felt really heavy (like, I was practically glued to the ground) and struggled to move, and people in the dream would look at me and make fun of my situation. That happened to me a few times, where...

Re: Flight of the bumblebee
This happens. Spent half an hour on the final boss myself because of how counterintuitive it is, but it's nowhere near as bullshit as the second Tagner fight where he totally spazzes out and slides around the arena at warp speed dropping bombs everywhere. I can't imagine anyone actually getting thr...

Re: Guess the Sonic Generations Stages
Still sounds like a decent enough idea to me- push a button to change characters and access different paths. There's no reason why it couldn't work in theory. Heroes would've sucked with or without multiple characters. Shadow was worse, and you can't really blame the guns for that. Personally, I'm s...

Re: Flight of the bumblebee
Christ, someone made a game called Willy Wombat? And it's a bout a mohawed Wombat who cosplays as Batman. And he was kickass. Only game I know of with a story that revolves around anarchist doctrine. And to think it was done so convincingly- you hear some of the shit that comes out of his mouth and...

Re: I can't think of a clever title about the Saturns contro
I was referring to Joy-Box not Bliss-Box. It I actually found what appeared to be a genuine Sega Saturn USB controller it has the Sega logo on the front but not the SLS sticker on the back so it's probably not truly genuine. With the current popularity of fighting games you think Sega would be manu...

Bliss-Box isn't something you can just buy, it's a guy taking commissions. Check the product page for pricing, then send him an email and hope he isn't swamped with orders.

Re: I can't think of a clever title about the Saturns contro
Yeah, avoid Retrolink and that's pretty much it. What you're looking for is the Sega logo on the front and an SLS sticker on the back. Those are solid enough, but I still suspect their authenticity when the D-pad on mine eventually caved in about 6 months later. But I'm the sort of guy who plays so ...
